I think Normani is the best dancer in the group but people talking about her singing voice sounding like angels or whatever is taking things too far. Her voice isn't very strong, especially when singing live, although she is more stable than the rest, she always sings flat and rarely adds musical flavor unlike the other girls. She isn't good at hitting higher notes in her upper middle range hence that's why her parts in the chorus are lower compared to Dinah's, to accommodate her range. Although hitting high notes doesn't make someone a good singer by default, it is important for a singer to know their limit when singing and to practice their techniques in order for them to be able to sing in any range including the higher ranges. Flexibility and versatility in ones range are key components in being a good singer. Normani just needs to work on developing her higher range.

+Destiny Williams Normani has improved a LOT. She isn't the weakest singer anymore. Go listen to their new live performances she isn't flat or whatever else you said. If you want to talk about someone who sounds bad live it's Dinah. I know Dinah is the best singer in 5H but she always sounds out of breath live.
