    what do you suggest to me in the economical category of sound cards for FIFINE AM8 microphone? What do you think of cards like Fifine SC1 or M-Audio M Track Solo or behringer umc22 -- um2 Or do you see a better one that you can recommend to me?

    I’ve never tried the M-track solo. Performance wise you will not have any issues with the SC1 by fifine. The only real negative for me if there is one for that interface is that it’s plastic and not a metal body but if you take care of it like the am8 be more than happy with what you get

    The mic I was using with the green lights in the background was the Samson q9u with the mid presence boost switched on in the back of the mic.

  • @levelupwithmikenewman

    @levelupwithmikenewman

    9 ай бұрын

    I like them both, but I do love that the Q9u has a little more body to the sound than the pd400x. I also love that it has a mute button on the mic that works in both xlr mode and usb mode which a lot of combo mics don’t do. Build quality is a touch better than the PD400x. If you want bright audio, pd400x, if you like that deeper broadcast sound with a mid presence the q9u is the way to go. The q9u is better at noise rejections and handling noises as well.

    @@levelupwithmikenewman follow up question, is the difference of US$40 more of the Samson Q9U worth it over the PD400x ? The Samson Q9U is more expensive but is the difference worth it?

  • @levelupwithmikenewman

    @levelupwithmikenewman

    9 ай бұрын

    @@F01L I would personally go with the Q9U over the PD400x because of the switches on the back, and the build quality. The Q9U is a polarizing microphone, people either love it or hate it, with few in the middle! lol. I love it, and if you are patient the mic usually sells for $129, and goes on sale for just $99 which is what is was it selling for when I reviewed it on my channel. With the holiday season (black friday) you can probably snag it for either of those prices. I imagine they raised the price back up to $150 now because they want to make up for the sale prices in a few weeks!

    Ambiguous audio interface. I think it's better than Fifine AmpliGame SC3, but only slightly. According to the main characteristics, it seems to be the same, but more expensive and 16 bits spoil the impression. And what do you think about comparing these two Fifine interfaces, which is better? Thanks for the review.

    If you are podcasting I like the SC1 because of its clean headphone monitoring. 16 bit audio doesnt really become an issue if you are using budget mics that are under $100, but you will definitely want an interface with at least 24 bit audio for premium mics that excel at rich detail in your highs and lows, mics that give you a fuller sound like the Ethos, SM7B, Q9u, LCT 240 pro, NT1’s, and more. I like the SC3 for people looking to live stream their gameplay that don’t include a party chat. Thats where I recommend that as an awesome entry level gaming mixer. 👍🏻
