Excellent sound quality, plastic construction but with a fine finish, I bought one and it sounds great! Incredible frequency spectrum for an inexpensive diaphragm!

Thanks for this review. Seems a very good bang for buck budget microphone for starter gaming mic. Comes with it's fair share of cons but the pros seem to balance it out. Ordered one after I came across this coz was deciding between three mics at this price range and I think this one from fifine will do me well at this price. Keep up the great coverage.

@@WakerGT I mean how much cheaper do you wanna go for a decent entry level USB mic. Under $40 is basically your best bet and that's where majority of the good entry level mics hang around, unless you wanna get a different style mic like lapel mics or something.

I have been having issues with this piece of hardware. The thing keeps cutting out and I have no idea why. Seems to be something to do with OBS + Discord when streaming but sometimes when Discord is not on it still messes up. Any tips OTHER THAN what is in this vid?

so I have this problem I got the boom arm instead of the stand and when I plugged it in and set it up it didn't pick up any sound (the sound bar didn't bounce) do you have any ideas on how to fix it?

Could be anything from your computer settings to your cable not working to the mic volume being turned down or muted, and anything in between.

Not really. If you're on zoom you can barely hear it. If you're recording raw audio, its not that bad either

Nope. I haven't added any filters or anything. You may be recording at a lower bit rate possibly

sounds 2x better then the jlab, jlab to me is more of a high end xbox 360 era mic

Not sure what kind of situations you're looking for? It's a usb mic, so how it sounds in the video is how it's going to sound no matter what. And yes I do recommend it for both as that's what I have used for quite a few videos now.
