People are weird. They complain about fifa being bad then go spend 60 dollars on it every year. EA doesnt listen to anything but numbers

We want: - In depth stats - Easy view of all stats on a player, not having to go to different screens each time! - Youth leagues - Better transfer negotiations (where are the different clauses you can insert into a contract!?) - Upgradeable facilities to improve players more efficiently - Ability to view past goals and games - 5 subs!? Come on EA!!! Get it together!! This is so underwhelming!!

Why are the comments just asking for such basic , superficial features? We need a completely overhauled career mode, including - youth teams and leagues - improved player progression - more in depth stat tracking & historical player stats - more realistic transfers & negotiations - better & realistic AI performance - sponsors - upgradable facilities - ... But let's be honest, we will never see those features as long as EA is responsible for the Game.

@@MrTaktic121 yes but create a club customization is trash. The club symbol/badge is literally just based on ea sports and 1994 and they’re barely customizable. No sponsor choices and you can’t even make them yourself, you’re just choosing from limited designs based on already-existing kits. Even worse for keeper kits, too. No realism or customization in the slightest. Playing as a manager for authentic clubs should allow you to (optionally) customize a new kit for a club but only at the end of the season.

I love cut scenes it helps immerse in the atmosphere and feel like it’s actually happening

For creating your own club you should be able to choose from some sponsors and maybe for an existing club you could be able to redesign your kit for the next season

One thing I've always wanted is to, as a manager, be able to just apply to any club in the world. I hate that there's essentially a roulette table of options each time you access the option.

You know that nothing will change when "new menu" is one of their main talking points...

Hope they revamped the manager career side this year, don't care about cut scenes. Pre-season tournaments needs updating badly, should be able too arrange our own friendlies, need too add u23s, menu layout needs improving

You could add that the turnout at the stadium depends on how well you are doing in the season. For instance, if your results are way below expectation, you may find the stadium to be more empty.

@@killerjase1 Now that you mention this, I do remember it vaguely. And I think your decisions regarding the stadium would impact revenue as well. Would be cool if you could have a say in the split and also how much to charge for tickets (with pros and cons to each choice you make). It feels like one of those features they'll bring back at some point and advertise as new lol.

The level of commitment EA have put into making cutscenes completely soulless in every single way is to be commended

These feel like patches rather then additions It would’ve been nice if they added: U23 and youth leagues, it would be great to promote or sign a 60 OVR rated U23 player and use them in pre season and cup matches then send them to the U23s to gain sharpness rather then keeping them on the bench for most of the season The same way you introduced financial takeover it would be great to have financial crises where you start the season with 100 mil debt that has to be paid within 3 seasons, so let’s say you sell a player for 10 mil the board only gives you 1 million to spend on transfers Financial fair play, it would be nice to have Salary caps Home supporters leaving the stadium in the 85th minute when you’re 3-0 down Recurring injuries throughout a players career if you mismanage the player like bring them back too soon or if you train/play them too much Players not wanting to sign contract extensions no matter how much money you offer them Commentators need a drastic improvement e.g reminding you that you haven’t beaten a team in the last 4 meetings Reminding you of the score line the last time you met “the last match ended in 1-0 win for the visitors” Constantly remind you that you are the defending champions, e.g “the reigning champions are trailing 1-0 to the newly promoted side” “the premier league champions are trailing 2-0 at home to third tier Portsmouth” just to add some emotion

Other changes not mentioned in the video: -Pre season games will be closer to the first competitive games and only the winner will win the prize money. -The save file limit is now 17. All save files from tournaments and both CM modes will be in the same place. -Transfer rating are only determined by how close you are to a club's minimum selling price. -Transfer negotiation tension will be a meter telling you how close a manager or player is to storming off. -Create a club has customizable 3rd kits and GK kits. -You can edit every detail of every player when you load your created club. -The toggle between wage and transfer budget has been removed. (Your funds would remain unchanged, but financial information such as wages will be presented visually differently) -Personality points can be acquired in a Journey like decision system. -There will be an option with the playable highlights to play all of them or only the attacking highlights.

Another issue I have always complaining in the career mode is that you must request transfer to move(player career). Other teams cannot come for you also as a player career you are supposed to negotiate terms,wages,number of years,bonus as you will as a career manager.

i still miss the club running aspects from the PS2 era. sponsors, staff upgrades, off-the-pitch work and all that. you should also give us the option of upgradeable stadia for when we create a team from scratch, and also make sure the sponsors we would pick would appear on the jersey.

LMA Manager was one of my favorite games from the ps1/ps2 era xD mad thing is, EA used to make an in depth manager game literally called FIFA Manager. I don't get why they either don’t bring that back, or implement a lot of the things it had into career mode

@@Chicken_Dippers yeah, i still play LMA 2007 every once in a while, it's such a good manager, the only problem to me is that it doesn't have national team football, even as a background element. EA could very well learn from that instead of insisting other games don't exist.

I think fixing all the bugs that career mode has should be the main focus. So many bugs! Also more realistic transfers. Also as a manager in career mode I would love a better live sim mode so I can watch the team play from the sidelines live and not dots on a screen. Aswell as more dialogue between the commentators.

Time to see how one new pitch pattern option is going to absolutely revolutionise the way we play career mode 😍

I believe the biggest changes are coming to player career and not manager career mode. So if you look forward to manager career mode news it will be disappointing.. for player career might be some interesting news.. we’ll see, fingers crossed.

This is what i play every year. I may get back into FUT this year but career mode is my bread and butter. I can’t spend hours in the same week building a FUT team but I can always come back to a career mode when I want to pick back up again.

Ik player Carrer is still a disgrace the player growth system allows you to become 92 rated in 3 seasons but you can't go beyond that because your at max level and manager career they just added a quicker way to play

These are 'tweaks'. Really disappointed with this. - Stadium builder still not included - Hardly any business additions - youth teams and leagues other than the current lame system - improved player progression for EVERY player. - more realistic transfers & negotiations - better & realistic AI performance... Teams set up based on your league position? - sponsorships and ways to generate better revenue for the club - upgradable facilities? This was once a thing!! Really frustrated with the lack of ambition for this mode. Literally the only mode I play!

I was hoping for an actual kit and stadium creator like the leakers were saying. All they did was give you the ability to customize all 3 kits including the goalkeeper kit. That should’ve already been in the game last season and the kit choices aren’t even different. What a joke. Modders can complete this in a week, it takes EA months just to do this?? I’m so incredibly mad rn.

Incredibly impressed. Had such low opinions and they've managed to produce even less than hoped. Literally no meaningful changes for manager career. Unbelievable (even for EA). Cannot wait for the license to go elsewhere and finally get some competition going

Here is a career mode idea... You are able to pick your team and season that you start out from. Want to re-live the golden age of barcelona and start out from 2008/09 season with current graphics and physics? you got it. want to use ribery and robben in their prime and manage bayern starting from the 2012/13 season? go nuts. this would add so much playability and and nostalgia to career mode. It would be called: career mode classic. make it happen EA... oh but wait, ultimate team makes more money.

It literally used to exist as well. 20 years ago in fifa 2003 me and my brother were playing 2 player seasons against each other. Taking turns to play matches and letting the AI sim the matches between out two clubs was a great event

Literally would be a game changer to fifa. 2k and madden has it and I can’t tell you how much time is invested in a multiplayer career mode

Only thing that fustrates me is that all these ideas they're implementing could've been done SO MANY titles ago.. Why until now they have decided to do these things? Nothing i see here in terms of career mode is ground breaking. I'm always going to be skeptical and critical because every year i've seen the game get progessively worse no matter how much marketing is involved to sell it.

100%, they been holding back "features" every title just so they can release a new game every year. It's absolutely ludicrous. Nice changes but again something like being able to use authentic managers should of been in the game 4years ago for fifa18. Stopped playing since then and fifa22 felt really fresh for about 3months, I guess it's still just soccer in the end of the day. The AI changes are the most exciting. The be a pro extra bit of progression is awesome but something that could of been there in 22.

If you buy this game for career mode it's just sad at this point. In FIFA 22 I can't even sign the players I want because apparently Bundesliga is not competitive enough for Gerard Moreno! Not only does EA not improve Career Mode they attack career mode players with a vengeance and does everything they can to make CM players frustrated when they play it. A truly pathetic company indeed.

@@actualman908 its the same game every year, this year they have only reskinned the menu, and added things that were supposed to be on the game years ago.

Pretty excited about some of the new additions e.g. AI tactics. But the “new” menu is a joke… nothing changed. At least add some colouring to the respective team you’re coaching to create some customized ambiance. You should feel a difference between managing AC Milan or Wolfsburg

A.I tactics are joke. What were they doing before that ?

I would’ve liked to see the ability to make a new kit at the end of every season if you manage a team which is already in the game

What I'd like to see in fifa 23 that will definitely NOT be in the game. Player career: - Playing a game to see what team you'll be going to via scouts rather than picking your own team. - The ability when moving to a big club as a low rated star to be allowed back on loan with that team or another team. - better transfer offers other than team from like Mexico or some other unknown league. - being able to negotiate your own contract. -being remembered for your stats from the previous year. - Being able to ask for games off or to start on the bench rather than playing every single. Manager career: - get to build up to becoming a well respected manager around the world. - get to pick your own friendly matches/how many rather than the same boring tournaments. - U 18s/21 teams - Alot better transfers. (Seeing a team like Frankfurt paying almost £100M for a player isn't realistic at all) - sponsorships and more cut scenes to feel more realistic - stat tracking each season. - choose your own kit colours. - overall a more realistic footballing experience. Everything in fifa 22 is just so robotic and lifeless

I really wished they added a way to contact a team in player carrer mode, or apply for teams im interested in rather than random clubs. For example start off at mls and during an interview or some event you mention team youve been a fan of; ex (ajax), then the club keep tabs on you and offers you a contract if they like what youre doing. Small progressions go a long way.

I really hope that the “big addition” isn’t the fact we can play with real managers. It isn’t a big thing at all and should have been an option as soon as they release real managers

career mode needs to have the option of at least approaching any player for a loan no matter the contract length or big name player it is and making your own proposal. for example spurs loaned out ndombele and lo celso in january last season but you could never do that on career mode and i feel like it would make it more realistic.

Or actually make loaning players in work. I’ll be a Championship team or English League 1 team trying to loan in a 16 or 17 year old premier league team player and even set that I’ll pay 80% of their wage and they’ll immediately say no to then turn around and loan them to Argentina or Brazil.

Fifa really disappoints me they cant even provide simple things we have asked for Where are the sponserships for create a club? where is the facility upgrades? Where is the stadium custimisation? Things I wish they added for manager career mode: 1. Have a chemistry system where once you change team tactics, the more games they play, the better the players tend to perform. 2. Give us a colour wheel for kit designs and not just around 30 colours to pick from. 3. It’s so easy to add many kit graphics and designs to the game so why aren’t there tons more? Heck, hold competitions for creators to get their designs in the game. 4. Give players with no face pic a generated face at least. 5. Let us choose the exact budget and wage value when we pick a club. 6. Let us choose specifically what objectives we want for authentic and created clubs. 7. Make youth academy bigger. Be able to scout more youth players and don’t have them cancel contracts if not signed in the first season. 8. AND FOR GOD SAKE… I always get at least one player who always complains when I don’t make 7+ signings every transfer window because it “knocks the confidence of the players”! 9. Scouting needs an overhaul. It’s been the same for too many FIFAs now. Maybe put on the player details the style of play he prefers (possession, long ball). But scouting overall could do with a remake. 10. Finally, let us customise player ratings and attributes in career mode to add more customisation to this game.

@@gigiggitygoo6031 yes you can change player ratings beforehand in the customise menu but not in career mode itself. Since career mode is offline, changing player ratings shouldn’t create a problem let’s say as long as you do it at the start/end of every season. Unfortunately, once you start, player ratings cannot be freely changed and after applying the online updated ratings, it resets everything! We need rosters like NBA where we can save a custom roster for ratings alongside the official ratings

Why we couldn’t get player history, I mean, past clubs, appearances, goals, assists. Option to change sponsors or customize kits after end of the season, something basically all clubs in real world do. In my opinion that’s one of the basic things Fifa should have had a long time ago.

Will managers finally move clubs like players? Or will we be playing against the same manager at the same club 15 seasons later still?

I want to see history stats, like past winners, golden boot, league, balon dior. Even some mobile games have those stats. Also i wanna see managers switching clubs with their philosophy implimented into the squad.

Finally something more in player’s career mode. While playing FIFA 22 I thought it needed something more realistic or even more interactive. Such as making it like The Journey. I think FIFA 23 has a great start but would love it if you develop more like the journey.

We want historical stats data. Its underwhelming to be the top scorer in a year, no celebration whatsoever just given the section on news. I want to be able to climb my way up til CR7s 400+ goals at Real Madrid. Winning trophies also gets boring. I play all 60+ matches in my careers and at the end of the season I expect something else to grasp. Even comparing new seasons with the old ones? I dont know. Its a letdown for me and I try not to be too negative. Maddens Career has historical data and salary cap, why fifa cant have it? I never understand why this franchise does NOT listen to their own players. They just do as they please. CHANGE THE MENU, ITS THE SAME

Career mode just seems so dead compared to real life, one thing that should be added is something in football manager, history of players so their past clubs, apps goals assists would make scouting players feel more real. Having this continue in game would make every career mode completely unique. I wanna know how many goals my best players have scored across multiple seasons. This isn't a hard thing to add and there's so much more that can be done but sometimes a simple change can make a big difference.

I would like to if you play in small league and develop a talented team. That the big leagues tap on the players. Agents and the media play a larger part of keeping or losing a player.

Scripted gameplay is confirmed to continue. Realistic transfers are objectively impossible to exist in any football game (was Messi to PSG a "realistic" transfer in real life? Of course not).

When I sim a game in Manager career I wanna be able to watch the game as if it was live on my Tv, not just a bunch of dots moving around the screen, I feel like this would make it so much more fun and you could treat each game as if it were real.

I would really like to see: *deadline day cut scene because It would be cool Seeing all the clubs trying to sign their players *Goodbye speech when you leave a club *Player interviews *Manager interviews and players come running in because you won a big match

make it so that there’s a hardcore mode for player career mode so it is hard, not just the difficulty but for example things like injuries change your whole career which effect clubs that want to get you and changes your value aswell as skill, it’s like every match there is always a risk of breaking your knee which can have a career ending effect which would be a fun challenge

The gameplay will not be same anymore right fifa 15 right🙂. That was a gem 💚

statistics can really improve the career mode when you know how much g/a a player scored in his entire career. I want more effort statistic-sided, its bringing much more depth to a game

Hey EA I love fifa I would really like to see you being able to decide on a contract with a team in player career and being able to have cut scenes before after important games

​In player career mode for e example i play as Neymar ( locked) . When I give the ball to Messi in open space, he will never dribble past some one or make a run. he will simply give the ball backwards, or play one touch passes . We want Ronaldo , messi , neymar , silva to dribble past 2-3 players As an A.I not as an opponent but also as my team mate. It will make the career mode more fun and realistic.

Exactly why I stopped playing my player career mode. The AI is brain dead and you basically have to hold their hands for anything to happen. This is why you can’t play as a Cdm or a position that isn’t attacking bc you will rely on the AI to score and they can’t do that
