You cannot release him, you have to keep him for a year untill his contract expires.

It does work but the idea is to give that huge wages only for a year contract and younger players do not normally accept a 1 year contract.

yes and your transfer budget will increase. also after the player's contract expiry, the wages will be available.

@@sindrapf No, as you would be buying the free agent player at the end of season i.e last week of June.And You end season after buying the free agent player. You will have the increased transfer budget at the beginning of new season.
