Each individual pack has its own probability, you cannot add or multiply them together. If you do, that would be the chance of getting multiple TOTS in a row

Andy had Plea and Tolisso. He should have built a hybriiiiiid

i really enjoyed the format where you only had 2 packs of the current league and you had to make do with what you had. I think it adds an element of suprise rather than getting 30 players and just sorting out the best ones. regardless, really enjoying your videos lately keep up the good work James

no he's not, and James even less, the 3% is an individual probability that resets on every trial it does not stack it's an independent event, obviously you get slightly better probabilities if you open more packs but if you have 3% chance of gettings a tots in 1 pack it doesn't mean you have 6% chance if you try twice

Andy is correct with the probabilities. The probability of both of you getting a TOTSF was (0.033 x 0.033), the probability of one of you getting one and the other not is (0.033 x 0.967), the probability of the other getting the TOTSF is (0.967 x 0.33), and the probability of neither of you getting one is (0.967 x 0.967). If you then add all these values together you’ll get a total of one. However the chance of at least one of you getting one in the final pack is (0.033 x 0.033) + (0.967 x 0.033) + (0.033 x 0.967)

andy is right you can't just add probability like that - consider this if you open 31 packs then by that logic you'd have 3.3%*31=102.3% of packing a totssf which isn't true. odds of packing exactly 1 totssf in 2 45k packs odds of packing a totssf is 3.3% so odds of not packing one is 96.7% so you either pack one in first pack or second pack - and you have to add them probabilities together that is to say (0.967*0.033)+(0.033*0.967)= 0.063822 or 6.3822% otherwise good video haha :) keep uploads coming very much enjoying them and thanks for your work
