Barcelona Beast FK accuracy is low or your curve is low. If you are attempting in career mode you may need to try the free kick drill where you can pass it to your teammates so you can develop the FK skill without having to score

Then use one of these players: Neymar L.Messi Pele - Icon P.Dybala J.Rodriguez L.Suarez K.de Bruyne C.Ronaldo Ronaldo - Icon OR create your own player, add 80-99 Curve and try. Also reset any settings and follow the power bar instructions. If that doesn't work, listen to Justin Frazier. FK = Free Kick. Afghani Cataloni non of them explain it has to do slightly with timing, which I never found a video on. When you hold the curve to early it, curves to early and to in making it an easy save for the gk, to late and it won't curve, none of them explain that but the only thing i can tell you is just keep practicing

This also depends on how good the player is at FK acc and/or Curve. (Former needs more power/bars, latter needs angle re-adjustment.)

Works as advertised in training, however in-game the shots are entirely random, always going either high or low and even way off targed (this is an issue I've had with FIFA since ever, there's no consistency whasoever between real game and training).

This did Int Yelp my guy still hits it over the goal or makes it super easy to Block by goalie free kicks are stupid in fifa 18 just pass them to a team mate u can score.

Hey so I'm having a lot of trouble aiming and placing free kicks with my vPro in fifa 18 in training but in fifa 17 I had a good aim and knew how to place free kicks pretty well, so my question is, is there a trick to fifa 18 mechanics that I might be missing or can it just be something else? and if so is there anyone that has gone through this as well and what did you do to fix or help it. Not to sound thick, but when you say both, do you mean it varies or it doesn't matter as long as you curve the ball? Exp. dipping freekick In other words, if I hold the left stick up then power up the freekick letting go of the shoot button once powered but still holding the left stick upwards the whole time will it be the same as pushing the left stick up AFTER I power up the shot?

Welcoming Bot reason I ask is everytime I try a powered/powered curve freekick the ball goes in the direction of the players testicles or on the ground for the keeper to pick it up, maybe I haven't got the power right but I can't seem to do them.

For knuckle ball it’s L1 not L2

Old video, but man, looks like this year the FKs are like very random sometimes, i've scored few but nothing near the last fifas, sometimes you aim and shoot with exactly the same power and player and the ball simply goes very far, can't understand FKs this year

I've tried a lot, but i didn't seem to find a way to do it on a keyboard. Some controls are not available on the keyboard I think.
