Secondly, until a highschool bully told me I was 100lbs overweight I just considered myself chubby. the bully is one of my best friends to this day 25 years later because I truly believe he has given me years in my life and a lifestyle I couldn't even enjoy in my former condition in my teens, and I'm in my 40s now. Feelings don't matter as much as the truth. Swallowing emotions and looking objectively at an opinion is more important than looking for reasons to not listen to an unflattering truth.

Yeah, my friend married a South African, and moved out there. All the (uninformed) locals said it would be great since the end of Apartheid, and they'd go visit her in the new paradise. The whole family moved to the UK within a year, she had 2 employees literally cut to pieces because they worked for a white family. She had to carry a Beretta in her handbag because she could be attacked at any minute, and no one would help her.

As an expat living in South Africa for over 19 years. A noticeable difference is (when the shit hits the fan!) love thy neighbour kicks in and local community watch out for each other. Very important when a dystopian regime tries to divide people.

Yes, communities stand together - across race, class & gender.... but you will not read that in the MSM. Naturally, there are areas safer than others. The Western Cape is the best in terms of safety & functional infrastructure due to the DA government of the metro/municipality... still a battle but the best province in SA.

So many good people in SA, across race etc. I do think she was referring to boer farmers being murdered on farms and sadly, they are targeted for being precisely that "white farmers", but not all SA are targeting the white farmers - equally there are other murders in urban areas (across race, gender etc) ... As with life, the reality is always more complicated than a simple black versus white argument. I am a Muslim male. I pray 5 times a day. I am a businessman as well with many incredible people who work for me. I genuinely love the UK and feel as English as a native, I also hold countless awards and qualifications. Hand on heart I can tell you. Good on you, again, Katie and Andrew.

This is an illuminating conversation between two people, freely and honestly expressing their opinions from their own perspectives. Whatever my previous perception of these two individuals, I found it refreshing to hear them speak openly, with the absence of loaded questioning that the media interviewers usually subject them to.

Two proper decent people.

They actually kind of know each other as they are both from Luton. I have spoken to Tommy a couple of times along time ago I used to work with anti radicalism and counter terrorism groups in the UK

I grew up in the Middle East. Tate doesn't understand Islam, for him its a fad. He was bored in jail and this was a way to pass the time.

Tremendously powerful, engaging , funny and moving chat . Loved it .

I moved to Poland back to my wife's home town nearly 2 years ago. I'm a British man at heart and am proud to be english but I feel the same as you guys as it makes me sad to see the state of the UK. It's going to hell in a hand basket and it's only getting worse. Moving abroad really opens your eyes and you can see how things should really be done. Such a better quality of life. People are happier, even if they don't have much as far as material things are concerned. I just wish more people knew this and maybe there is a slim chance the UK could be as nice of a place as it used to be.
