Arguably the best potentially ! Although the land around Peebles in Scotland is a rival to that, and you can guarantee that the sika around Peebles are 100 percent pure bred Japanese sika, that’s not the case in Wicklow

I’ve found with the sika that there’s generally no exit wound, so little or no blood trail, thats with 100 grain 243 and 150 grain 308, it makes finding them harder in forestry even with a Bavarian as a hunting partner

Probably leaving deer that are on the menopause 😂 so we don’t hurt their feelings
Never mind open season on deer, the poachers are basically destroying the stocks and no body is talking about that, one git I know of in northern Donegl sold 850 animals last year, 🤬🤬🤬🤬
