The singer is still phenomenal, what a beautiful voice. Can't say the same about the audience. They don't appreciate the rarity to see and hear this song played live.

It's true that I had the opportunity to be at the Craige Hill Festival in Perth in 2022 a month later and hear a concert of the Fiction Factory band. A wonderful musical feast.

When I drive my car - this song is often played in the radio by the local radio station Classic FM here in Denmark and I love this song so much. Thank you Fiction Factory!

I remember being 23 years old, walking down a leafy street on a beautiful sunny day and someone had this on their car stereo-perfect! ❤

It was sad that Fiction Factory never really had the popularity that they deserve. I was able to own their album Throw the Warped Wheel Out.. Loved it.

Still epic after all these years! Very well performed by the whole band! Wow! Back to the 80´s!

A lot of what makes songs become important in our lives are them appearing in the right place and right time. I was in a lonely, home office job with night shifts where I would leave the TV on the MTV 80's channel for background and to feel less alone at a time the head was running with all sorts of thoughts. I didn't even know this song until that point. This ended up marking an entire year of my life, and this song would come up in my head everytime something bad or good happened. And it is a great, fantastic song, full of heart and talent.

Really nice to see the guys having a. reunion. Brilliant song, there was so many great alleged 1 hit wonders in the 80's & this is certainly one of the best . Thanks for putting them on your festival. Scotland produced as lot of great bands during that time, Simple Minds, Big Country & albeit slightly later Deacon Blue among them but my favourite was undoubtedly Love and Money , a criminally underplayed band led by soulful frontman James Grant 🩷🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Is the audience sedated or simply disrespectful? Forty years ago I fell hard in love with this beautyful voice and this beautyful song. It's the favourite song from me and my best friend who's gone much too soon. Whenever I hear the first notes I think about him and - It feels like heaven! Guy looks his age mid 60's , the clue is in him saying they wrote the song 40 years ago! I think a bit more respect for performers who are part time musicians making the effort to be on stage & perform after many years without doing so would be good to see but you obviously think another way.

@@TheAbsentee67 You should start more training after hitting 40 to remain fit later decades. Performing onstage needs to be fit, unless it looks ridiculous. Deep Purple guys are over 70 and look and act amazing.

@@marguskiis7711 Deep Purple are a hugely successful full time band who have been touring for decades , you can't compare them to Fiction Factory who aren't famous enough to make a living touring continuously. In fact I guess they haven't played gigs for decades. Ridiculous comparison.
