Mate 3 grams on its own may not seem like much, but when added to the pot your 3 grams nearer to 1ounce 5 ounce or what ever your target may be. Great job.

yes that was a complete guesstimationon the sodium metabisulfate . if he had tested the solution i bet he could have got more.

It's a possibility. The solution was put into my stock pot anyway.
