The thing above mid vents on the left is factory slot for factory holder for tomtom navigation. I have one, but I do not use tomtom, instead I use it to hold my phone since grabbing part is exact same size as my phone. The thing above mid vents on the right is small compartment. Useful for storing personal documents/cards, car phone charger/car lighter... That compartment can get very hot, so I do not suggest putting flammable things inside.
