Does your filter housing have a spring inside ? I have some troubles fitting this type of filters

Hi the spring is not in the filter, it is inside as you put it down, example in the Peugeot 206 & other models it is inside the lid and needs attention because it breaks easily.

Hello, follow your mechanic's instructions, in some fiat give a message to change oil, it would be good to change oil soon, (my car), before 200000 km I changed them every 10000 km, now that I have many kilometers 200000+++ I changed every (7 - 8000) km, only (SELENIA WR P.E. 5/30 or 5/40). (Lubricant fully synthetic with grade, SAE 5W-30. Specifications FIAT 9.55535-S1 Lubricants for diesel engines. I hope I helped you :)

hello if they gave you the right filter then yes, be careful and don't use other brands continuously, I just drank bosch filter because what I was putting didn't have it.

hello my friend, (1) for this engine ( 3.0 - 3.2 ) liters.. be careful, always check the oil level, 3.0 to 3.2 is with the oil filter & crankcase... (2) many years i am using 5w-40 i dont have a problem, delegation advised me 5w-40, you can also use 5w-30, (Selenia WR P.E.) better to contact the dealership, if you live (example) in Russia it has other temperatures, and i do not know the best oil for you.

if i remember correctly EVO & other models do not have this iron cover. whoever wants can put the lid back on, is just for more protection, (it is not mandatory) :)

τώρα τα αλλάζω κάθε 8 χιλιάδες χιλιόμετρα, πρίν τις 200 χιλιάδες τα άλλαζα κάθε 10 χιλιάδες πάντα Selenia χωρίς τσιγκουνιά... αντιπροσωπεία μου είχαν πει ( αν έχεις λεφτά να αλλάζεις καθε 15 χιλιάδες αν όχι πάει και 20 χιλιάδες χιλιόμετρα, εγώ επέλεξα τον δικό μου δρόμο και δεν μετάνιωσα, 215 χιλιάδες χιλιόμετρα με εργοστασιακό καδένα...
