Thank you so much for your videos. Please, if my husband has worked 3 different jobs in the last 12 months and we want to rely on category B has he has not worked for his current employer for 6 months or more, do I have to get letters from all his previous employers? The appendix says letters to accompany all the payslips but we cannot get letters from his previous employers, only from his current employer.

If the applicant is already in the UK on a work visa and are switching to partner visa can they include their income as well to bridge the requirement gap?

Excellent video! I have a question though. My income is entirely from pensions, a private company pension, and the UK govt pension. How do I prove receipt of these pensions? What documents do I need to provide? Thank you in advance.

Hi, Migrate org uk. First of all thank you so much for your helpful videos . I just need to ask a question in detail and looking forward to get response from you as you are well experienced and trained OSIC regulated firm. I am planning to apply UK fiancé visa to join my partner in Uk. We are already engaged. I have applied 3 (times) U.K family visit visa application, the first two was refused and I haven’t did appeal against refusals. My 3rd and most recent UK family visit visa was also refused but later it was approved through the PAP application. I just stayed 2 months in UK with my UK visit visa vignette. Where i meet my fiance”(e). I just want to ask does my previous immigration history (i-e) (2 visit visa application refusals) can effect my current fiancé visa application which i am planning to submit. ? Please reply Thanks in advance

I've been employed for about 8 months now, I get hourly pay, but when my fiance applied for the visa, it says it requires "Payslips covering any period of salaried employment (current and previous) in the period of 12 months prior to the date of application". I don't get a salary and I haven't worked for 12 months yet, what do I do?

Hi @yellowlidgaming8218, The first thing to mention here is that the documents that you submit must comply with the Immigration Rules - not what is requested in the online application form. Your concern stems from the fact that the online application form is a rather inflexible one. Assuming you relied on Category A, it's fine to provide payslips covering the 6 months prior to submitting the application despite the online application form requesting 12. I suspect that the online application form requested 12 months payslips because you stated "not the same amount continuously, above the financial requirement amount" in the online application. This is the online application form incorrectly assuming that you want to rely on Category B. To address the other parts of your question: 1) Working for 12 months prior to submitting the application is also not a requirement. Whilst Category A requires employment to have been held for 6 months when the application is submitted, Category B does not have a minimum length of employment requirement. 2) It is not a requirement to receive salaried employment - non-salaried employment is perfectly fine too. I hope the above helps. Kind regards, The Migrate.org.uk team.

Hi I sent off the application and the employment letter contained everything apart from when I started full time, as I was doing part time before then switched to full time for 6 months. Will this be an issue as I am still earning above the requirement? Or can it be rejected as I didn’t mention this

  • @MigrateOrgUk

Hi @user-wy6zs2ln1f, The Immigration Rules states that the letter from the employer must confirm: (i) the person’s employment and gross annual salary; (ii) the length of their employment; (iii) the period over which they have been or were paid the level of salary relied upon in the application; and (iv) the type of employment (permanent, fixed-term contract or agency). The letter will not need to specifically state when you switched from being part-time to full-time. Rather, it will need to confirm the length of your employment. I hope the above helps. Kind regards, The Migrate.org.uk team.

It says when I started and how much I earn but doesn’t say when I started to earn that much as it changed this year, is that still okay? can I get refused due to this?
