It's a shame watching this in 2016 and knowing the supercar Makes like Mclaren, Lamborghini and so on are now GT3. I know old GT1 is roughly equivalent to the new GT3, but there's some obvious lack of power and its just not the same thing. It's like calling Formula 1 F3 from now on

The GT1 class of 1998 is faster than the modern GT3 class. So how can the cars in this video be slower or equivalent to the new GT3

Well, they weren't too clever for 2012 season. GT1 is GT3 now. :/
