Yeah. One of things that people seems to overlook about Reine's value is that while all of the dedicated Caster supports are great, if you put them against either an all-Rider farming node or a Rider boss,it's risky. Reines being a Rider means she can still provide support while not having class disadvantage. And her being a Rider stealing stars isn't as much of an issue either.These days in FGO,it's very likely that a Top Critical DPS will have star pull somewhere in their kit,which would negate that issue.

@@Finalzero0000 She counts, but there's still not that many non-Caster dedicated supports,so Reines is still notable. Also,Osakabe's kit is not that well put together compared to Reines. I would love to see more non-Caster dedicated supports in the future though.

Here's are several interesting tidbits about Sima Yi (Reines). Note that this is from Romance of the 3 Kingdoms novels. 1) Sima Yi has never once defeated Zhuge Liang in all the times they faced off. The only time Sima Yi "won" was in their final battle where Zhuge Liang was dying (due to stress and due to the gods punishing him by reducing his lifespan for one of his cruel tactics against his enemies; by luring them into a valley and then burning the whole valley trapping and burning them alive). Sima Yi stalled out the battle (he had his troops defend against Zhuge Liang's attack) long enough till Zhuge Liang eventually succumbed and died. Before dying, Zhuge Liang told his soldiers to bring his chariot with a puppet (Zhuge never learnt to ride a horse, so he rode this weird wooden horse chariot which was well known to everyone) to the next battle . Sima Yi, after catching wind of Zhuge Liang's dying news, ordered an attack. But the very moment he saw Zhuge Liang's chariot on the battlefield, he thought the dying news was Zhuge Liang's trap and ordered an immediately retreat despite having an overwhelming advantage (Sima Yi's troops outnumbered Zhuge's 400k to 100k) over the enemies. 2) Sima Yi's Formation/Noble Phantasm actual purpose was to defeat all of Zhuge Liang's Ba Gua (Stone Sentinel Maze) Formation/Noble Phantasm. Zhuge Liang's formation tricks you into thinking there're 8 ways to intrude, but you will got fooled and eventually get trapped unless you found the only 2 'doors' to escape. Sima Yi's formation/Noble Phantasm is designed so that it can intrude on any Ba Gua type formation like "water" swallowing the "stone" bit by bit. Why? It's because Ba Gua isn't able to simply change their rules of arrangement whereas Sima Yi's formation was invented to be shapeless so that any Ba Gua formation can't hold it. 3) Sima Yi's formation had another purpose, since it's shapeless/formless, they can correct their formation really quick if someone used brute force to rush the formation, as it will change/adapt their shape/formation according to the enemies strong point and eventually exposing their weak point, hence Reines' dialogue when she uses her NP: "No need tricks, nor ace, just strengthen your strong point and win against your opponent, that's all" 4) Why is Reines a rider? Not a caster? Sima Yi's career has and always been a war tactician, and is always seen riding a horse following his troops into battle. Zhuge Liang, however, started out as a politician and even when he got into warfare, he was mostly seen in the backline, directing the troop's movements (This changed when Shu and Wei kingdom was the only one remaining, and both sides had lost a bunch of talented generals, this forced Zhuge Liang to stay at the front to lead). Also, you could argue that Reines can be a caster too, but I think DW kept Reines as a rider just to bully Waver. LMAO! 5) As for why Sima Yi is using Reines' as a vessel; before their final battle, Sima Yi hid himself in the camp and no matter how much Zhuge Liang challenged him, he just refused to fight anymore. This forced Zhuge Liang to have a final battle against him because as you know, Zhuge Liang was dying (he was coughing up a lot of blood), so he presented Sima Yi with a woman's outfit along with cosmetics and taunted him, but Sima Yi just wore the dress and thanked Zhuge Liang for the present. This made Reines a legit vessel for Sima Yi who dressed as a woman before. Lol.

Reines is an incredible Support Servant!!! I originally thought that she wouldn't be, but once I started using her in the Case Files Event, my opinion changed and I kept Rolling on her Banner until I FINALLY got her last night... It took me almost 800 Quartz to get her, and I was trying to not spend too much on her, but I didn't want to wait until next year for her, since she's something I've been wanting in FGO since the Very Beginning in NA: A Berserker Support that can truly help keep Beserkers alive, which she's Amazing at!!!! So, long story short, Reines is More than worth Rolling for, in my opinion. ^_^ Awesome Spotlight, as always, Sober Oni. Hope you have a good day, and do stay safe!! ^_^

Thanks for the great video as always Oni! Though I can't afford to roll for her this year myself due to needing to save for Space Ishtar, I hope you and everyone else can get her easily! Hopefully she will have a banner when her skill buff comes around, maybe then I will try-assuming Castoria doesn't bleed me dry next year too.

Yeah i am excited for her, and happy we have about what, 3 weeks to save for her and luvia. Right now trying to do all my interludes i havent done yet to get some more quartz. I plan for at least 1 of each, because i still need to have some ready for Jinako next month. So excited for her. I know i am in the minority there as everyone is going nuts for arjuna, but I am a man of culture damn it.

I've had Reines on my list for a super long time now, she's the next one up as a target for me and I've got 1.5k free SQ saved up. I'm hoping she'll come easy, especially since I gotta roll for Bride, BB, and Sitonai for certain for the rest of this year plus the other targets I have for the year.

This will be a real challenge for me. Would love Reines but with so many other targets this year I’d like to hold back on seriously rolling for her here. She is great though. A nice support outside the caster class.

Reines' skill, Volumen Hydrargyrum, is the one that shines.

I got her from the 4th anniversary gssr together with np2 gramps. Im so happy

Rolled got her this year as... Big brain here by time that buff comes she be maxed out and can roll NP 2 when the rate up back and beautiful. Done a waver and Reines Team with Friend supports who are insane NP 5's you can Play support for all FGO if you have powerful friends.

Since I don't have a Waver. So, Reines, it is. Saving up actually for Luvia/Astraea.

Funny thing I got Reines after the fight with Mynesmone. Right after she said we could meet again in Chaldea. I used the summoning tix reward from the mission and got her. 😅 And her first line "Oh so you have summoned me..." This line gives me the chills, as it was in line with the story event. 😅

It would be really cool to have a ce with strong effects that nerfs gather rate, like how that 4 star ce gives 40 percent crit but hurts defense

One thing I love about her once she gets her upgrade is that you can give two of your party members 30% NP charge by splitting her skills, which is useful for a number of situations, notably farming.

man i´m rolling now for this girl, luvia is just too good to pass and next year she is very close to other servants that i want. i guess is time to complete the smug girl collection

I’ll wait for her rate up during the Interlude Batch next year, since that’s when she reaches Waver status anyway. Plus the updated rates will make getting her easier. ...Aw, who am I kidding, I’ll try for her and uselessly blow quartz that I was saving for Merlin anyway.

I only got on copy of Reines then Reines the servant I rolled for that made me NP5 of alot of non-limited servants, I still have no regrets because having alot of NP5 servants that I may now.

Between the defense buff, the targetable invul, and her NP removing class disadvantage, it feels very much like she's built to pair with zerkers. She pretty much removes the glass part glass cannons.

Gotta admit, glad I was lucky enough to get her. Now my smug loli collection is looking great. Thankfully I have a ton of stakes laying around and had no other use for bells so they are also in good shape.

I like her gloves and shoes in asc 1 so i will roll, sometimes it doesn't take much to convince me.

Things to note about her NP: she is also very good against Berserkers... and allow for easy use of Foreigners against Foreigners.

3:42 I don't know why but I feel Bicorn Horn is that one material that we don't need to grind though I guess for beginners...

I am going to watch the Lord El Melloi anime in order to understand the Lady Reines Event's story and use it as a catalyst to summon to possibly summon Luvia or Reines.

Well, I saved and managed to get her, because I love Reines (Case files is my favorite fate anime). But since I don't have a weaver, she might fill the gap in my team for a NP Charge and atk buff suport. Well, not as well as Weaver until she receives her buffs, but still amazing anyways. Bro, Reines and Merlin will make my NP5 Beowulf melt every raid quest in this game!

I managed to roll her today from a single 10x roll. Lucky me.

Why would she ever bother joining Chaldea if she wasn't able to step all over Waver

Chacha is also a very good Berserker for Reines, since Chacha has a skill that not only also produces more starts, but also decreases the star weight of the other servants, which helps stop Reines from stealing away more stars.

Reines stealing stars wouldn't be that much of an issue as most Top Critical DPS servants these days in FGO will most likely have a star pull somewhere in their kits.

Im probably gonna roll for her since i've been using berserkers lately and half the time i bring waver even if im fighting riders haha

I'll roll her now, because I'm fairly certain I'll need all that time to get her skills up to par later; between QP Farming being trash, and all those stakes per skill (not to mention all the other content that's gonna get in the way), it'll prolly take some time.

All I needed to know was that she was another good NP battery support . Been willing to roll for her with just info from a friend months ago. The NP, skills, etc are a bonus. I probably saw her design back then too, so yeah. Design is why I didn't try hard for summer Raikou; Raikou is out of proportion normally (anime standards included), but the summed form is worse and it aggravated me.

Was saving up for Arjuna. Decided to go for one 10x summon on this banner as I can pretty easily make it up by the time that banner comes out (end of June I think) first character I pull is her. I’m not mad but I was hoping for Lady justice instead.

I know this is completely off topic I finally managed to get Achilles lol I finally have a farming rider.

Gott her on a first pull. Im meh on her but hope she is more valuable later after interlude.

I just realized that with me getting Reines that my Nightingale can not die from hits anymore with Class Advantage Negation plus the healing will not kill anybody and now I just need to think of the proper team with the this setup.

I’m just waiting for them to add a demerit on an ally waver if she uses one of her skill XD Gameplay wise though she just lacks a special niche to exploit besides her class disadvantage effect. Maybe a Cstar per turn skill and decreases her own star gather rate or a single target Tricard buff while increasing their own NP gain? Or maybe make that debuff removal aoe?

Haven't missed a servant spotlight yet and I ain't starting today

REEEEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIIIIINEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS I was weak and sunk FAR TOO MANY of the tickets I had promised to give to the True Shishou on the CBC (hoping for male storylocks, got NOTHING) and Ooku (got Kama, AFTER ALL MY TICKETS and ONE SINGLE ROLL OF SQ) banners, So I'm going into her banner with far less than what she deserves. Hopefully she will bless me in spite of the rather meager supply of Tickets I will provide her with (around 30 by the time she arrives + the 5 from when the next month rolls around). All my sq on the other hand must be saved in order to get THE GODLIEST of the Bollywood Bois, so if I fail to get my Shishou I shall have to wait for her Interlude rate up.

I rolled for Astraea, got spooked by Best doggo,Prince of Lanling,Nezha,NP2 Waver, NP2 Parvati, got Reines and finally Fragment of 2030 all in 210 sq, honestly, im stucked between being salty and happy cause I wanted Astraea, still Im grateful for this.

As someone who still doesn't have a Waver, and doesn't mind a reasonable alternative, I'm going to throw at least a few rolls her way.

Got her after wasting 15 summoning tickets and 90 Saint Quartz. Can't wait for her to get her buffs :)

one major prob is her total battery to party is less than waver even post buff and the 10% hampers interim np's with kaleid
