It honestly feels like her kit was a reaction to just how busted arjuna alter turned out to be. It feels so weird seeing a fan favorite servant get their 5-star version, one with such high production values, get such a, not even lackluster, straight up bad kit.

My girl. Have her NP5 in JP, going for that here. Don't even care if she's bad. Edit: managed to get her NP3 before my SQ ran out. Still happy though! And I can get her the last 2 next year. Good luck everyone! Double edit: decided on 1 more session. 5 tickets and 1 multi. Got 1 Nobu zerk, 1 more dom Nobu, and another 4 and 5* ce. Stopping now, but what a good session.

To those who are worried about the Burn Demerit in her first skill then it can easily mitigated by the Code Cure Command Code so put in one of Nobu Avenger cards so to remove the burn.

I have that one stuck on my Herc, since I usually use Castle of Snow and keep him as an anchor. Burns and curse damage destroys Guts’ effectiveness.

The issue is command codes are limited by the cards, so its actually possible you won’t get the command code on turn3 or later, as if a single party member is killed the deck resets, like the command code helps but its only assured when you solo, and maou nobu ain’t soloing that easily

@@kr555wizard Merlin's heal and max hp help mitigate command code rng, and so does Nobukatsu's 3rd skill just in case you want to get rid of him. Besides, once Nobukatsu is introduced, her face cards alone can tear through opponents like tissue paper.

She's actually a very good servant if you have the right units and command codes. Her burn deflect is avoidable if you use a command code to remove it. Technically no servant is inherently bad. Just got to support them with the right stuff is all. I don't really recommend Avenger Nobu for newer players, but she is a great unit! Just need the right command codes and servants to support her.

This is such copium. Literally ANY servant is " Good " if you slap the OP supports onto them, it doesn't say anything about the actual servant being buffed. Nobu is dogshit, she's a terrible servant. She has an extremely niche skillset and doesn't work generally at all, and even then there are plenty of better servants that do her " niche " better than she ever could. She's bad, get over it and stop grasping at straws just to force your shitty waifu to work, and get a reality check.

Reasons to summon her: Nobu, red hair, hot af. Reasons not to summon her: All the reasons Oni listed in the video. Conclusion: Yeah, we goin for her boys, cause it's a readheaded Nobu.

@@luizfelipevbf5567 using non max limit broken talk of the hot sands she gets a Crit buff and the Star absorb close to a saber and if that’s not good enough for you, seal designation enforcer is what you want, which makes her more Star heavy than riders.

Between Nobu, Jalter, and Space Ishtar the Avenger class is filled with step on me energy

Stuck? Np with anniversary coming you should be able to use the guaranteed 1 time max ascension thing to increase her level to 70 with the ability to be leveled to 80

Reminder that the rerun of this event happens after the 4th anniversary for NA. If it follows JP’s 4th anniversary, then we’ll have x10 rolls permanently upgraded to x11 rolls. So if you can wait until the rerun, you’ll have more bang for your buck. But like Sober Oni said, you’re probably going to roll no matter what I say😋.

I DID IT!! NOBU AVENGER CAME HOME!! Finally at long last I have all the nobus! On top of that, when I was rolling thanks to the 30 sq from NA's 4th anniverary I got not JUST avenger Nobu BUT ALSO summer nobu for NP2. I am so happy right now that I have my favorite avenger in fgo (sorry Jalter)

"You're all going to summon her regardless of what I have to say" I wasn't even TRYING to summon her (I wanted Mori) and she spooked me. I'm not gonna complain about another limited 5* or finally having an avenger-class servant, but I'm not sure how much I'm gonna use her.

She needs more buffs particularly an NP strengthening and a larger crit generation buff

It happened again I was watching this and got Maou Nobbu I need to watch you and roll more often cause I get my luck watching you and praying and all I want is the event CEs to make my life easier

She may not be a good servant game play wise, she's hot AF both figuratively and literally. So you know the drill bois!

I got her both berserker and avenger in the same roll, this definitely makes up for missing nobu archer as I hadn't started playing at the time.

that feel when my main trio after august will be Maou Nobu, Bunny Artoria, and Merlin. Maou Nobu is my most anticipated avenger servant to release on NA since her initial JP release so I am summoning...I mean I have held off on going into LB4 for this bc I have wanted Maou Nobu as my main Servant since last year. Irdc about her weaknesses I will have Command codes ready for her once she comes to her loyal Vassal's SIde(me :D) I wish everyone else Luck in their summons!

I'll be blessed if I get her while trying for copies of Mori. The dream goal is a full Nobu team with Nobukatsu and Mori (and maybe a support Merlin xd) GL rolling for her everyone!

I'm so glad I got her along with 3 Summer Nobu's, Nezha, Nursery Rhyme, Mori and 5 event CE's all of that for the low price of 120sq all things considered.

Seeing as she is my first ever NP 5, I feel obligated to use this top tier waifu

I've said it before, but she is the servant that made me finally make a JP account. Luck was on my side as she was my first 5* there too. Despite everyone saying she was terrible, she was very effective and was the servant that essentially solo'd most of Goetia. So of course I'm going to try for her on NA!

I think you should really consider solo settings for some of these reviews, because Nobu can work a whole lot better in a solo, as can a lot of other servants that got pretty low grade are a lot better in that kind of scenario, even if most players don't solo fights. I just think it's worth mentioning

After 3 years I've first seen her release in Jp, I finally got her in my main account (Korea) I'm here to watch again while crying with happiness

I spent all my sq and more for Alterjuna already. Demon king Nobu will have to choose me in GSsR or next year when we get the 11 shot. I’m saving now for Rider Dabinci!

Recommendation: Use a code on one of her buster cards that removes debuffs to remove the self burn.

I wish that special attack was against enemies with burning effect. Mama Nobu would be so much better

If I get either Maou or Summer Nobu, I'll definitely be rolling for NP5 Nobukatsu next year

Thanks for the great review Oni! while I won't be rolling for Nobu myself, I know at least one friend who will-he loves Nobu as much as I love Ibaraki and Shuten! xD It is such a shame that her kit is just so wonky... As others have suggested, its probably their way of trying to step back in power creep/meta changing or whatever after God Arjuna, which just really isn't fair to Nobu or her fans. I mean yeah I know LB kings are basically supposed to be OP be design lore wise and gameplay wise, but still! :(

Mori was the true catch of the banner. got him NP5 and I'm having a blast using him almost everywhere in the event

Shame on you on for not recommending Nobukatsu for future team usage with all the Nobus.

Her buff, besides the rank up quest, is Nobukatsu.But I can't deny an some other upgrade would help out a lot as well.

I don't remember the last time you gave a ranking that low for a 5 Star... I imagine some of the early ones could also be in the lower end too, but damn; it's kind of weird to see a Servant like her in a sea of cool supports and ridiculous carries. Though, she is far from unsalvagable, and I can see a buff to her third skill (and her NP, but that is to be expected at some point) could do a lot for her.

Just got her on the rerun banner in NA while rolling for Nori... Spent too much quartz trying to get a single copy of a limited 3-star, but I missed Mori on the original banner, so I figured I could get at least one, surely. 😅

Maou Nobu could benefit well from White Vessel's Command Seal. Or the FP gacha 1 star command code, Cure. Removing the Burn debuff would help somewhat with lasting on the field longer.

In the process of farming for grailing her as I watch this. I regret absolutely nothing.

I just got her today and decided to try my luck on Nero bride and also got her as well.

Sounds like she would enjoy being pair up with Summer BB, BB got that card freeze skill so pair that up with the code outfit that shuffles cards you could likely being the best out of her. She also seems like she enjoy being pair up with Jack and X-Alter as well. She is a interesting servant for sure, I have not unlocked her yet but if I do I think I will enjoy tinkering with her.

For anyone planning to go hard on her who sees this: Consider waiting until her rerun next year! She'll be way cheaper to get after the Gacha buffs in a couple weeks. Like ~340sq down from ~450sq per copy

Got 3 Nobuzerkers , and got Nobu Avenger Once, hopefully I can get here one more time at least, but Im happy either way :D

Actually of all the Servants Avenger Nobu has actually good support choice with the menagerie of buster supports that are available where while Chen Gong is best as Berserker Buster support but he can still give the buster buff to Nobu and he can do taunt so Nobu won't be targeted. Then Merlin is still OP in Buster teams where he constantly give healing, stars, and np gain which Nobu needs where the heal solves the burn demerit, stars are plentiful for whenever Nobu is going to do crit attacks, and np gain cause that deck is going to gain a lot of np. Nightingale can cure the demerit and heal Nobu's damage and she can give a good Buster Buff and Nightingale is a berserker so you probably crit with Nobu Avenger. And after rechecking Summer Raikou's kit that her Buster buff actually removes demerits and she can produce a lot stars too.

I love to pull for her but I'm saving for Summer Musashi and Bunny Artoria. Hopefully I can get her from the the GSSR or the rerun next year.

You're god damn right I rolled for her. Even though it cost me almost everything.

I can't do the crit setup that was in this video but instead i use someone's merlin 2030 ce ( 8 star per turn) and merlins noble phantasm for more star generator. Merlin hero creation HP up and buster up helps her very well because it raises nobunaga's hp that can help her live longer. Merlin illusion can also be very helpful whenever an enemy aoe np charge is full it can protect everyone including the 2nd support for nobu. And santa quetz 1st skill sambita B which gives a good amount of star and a atk up. Her second skill is gather rate and star drop up (i think) that can be activate by choosing which servant u wanna buff with it As per buff damage and defense i have waver that can help her reach her good damage for np and waver, his noble phantasm that decrease defense for all enemy + curse. To increase her suvivability rate i put georgos or mash at the back (emergency when nobunaga is low on health and needs few more turn to defeat a enemy)

One servant I expected you to mention is Nobukatsu since he can provide crit damage and star absorption and a buster up while killing himself to let servant coming to continue to buff Mao Nobu, essentially a 1* Miss Crane who doesnt need stars to use his Np.

i love her.Use her a lot in my jp account especially against divine servants.

Yes spishtar is better waifu as well as better servant, she can fit in any meta too.

I'll get this out of the way now: I Love Nobu so much!!! I'm so glad I was able to get her Avenger Form, and I can already say this: she's not as bad as people think she is. There are Very Easy ways to solve her issues, and 1 of them is to equip her with a few Command Codes to allow you to remove her Self Burn Demerit immediately. Either way, I'm happy with Avenger Nobu, and I'll be looking forward to hopefully getting NP 2 of her next year since I was barely able to get her. Also, First Form Nobu (aka: OG Nobu) is Best Nobu in my opinion!!! ^_^

I decided to roll for some CEs for this event, not really going all out for Nobbu. She came to me from a ticket. Not gonna complain about that at all, just weird how that worked out.
