I once missed all defense buffs and I died a little inside, when my damage dealer died on the enemies last attack by having the exact amount of health as damage dealt to them.

The only thing he needs now is an animation update

depends on what u need. I have Tesla and hes pretty reliable for damage, I would say he is better for farming. Whereas Squirtoria is a pretty powerful servant herself her skills help to buff a party more but she is reliable by herself. also she is a pretty good NP spammer with her arts buff skill. Edit: Depends what u want, both are good.

Thanks! Great timing, I randomly pulled him earlier today (still stunned it happened). Unfortunately I used up all my gears and forbidden page on other servants so I'm stuck grinding. (Just got him to 3rd Asc) Your video pretty much answers all my questions as I was wondering how he is as a unit prior to the Strengthening Quest. Thanks again for your servant spotlight!

He is my favorite archer in the game lol I've had him since he came out in NA!

Just finished Camelot yesterday and I gotta say that this man literally carried me through the Gawain and did so much more damage than I thought he would’ve. Thank you to my support friend who decided to put him out.

So basically, if your pair him with Ozy who can put his B skill at 100%, he is even more broken?

I got Tesla in JP today (he's one of the few servants I really wanted since December of 2017) and decided to play this video. As I was watching the video, a smile was on my face knowing that he is quite strong (sadly almost no one that I am aware of talks about him) and I will take very good care of him.

NP2 Tesla since today :D At NP1, main carry in story and important part of farming :x Gonna be my first Bond 10, I shall see to that ;D

I like that you visualized your overall grade for the Servant. I'd recommend using a color that blends better--it's a bit hard to read the red grade over a red background. As cliche as it is, white with black outlines is readable over any background color.

Got him on paid gacha instead of my hubby arjuna, but he seems a pretty solid servant,, Love it... !!!

Thanks as always for the thorough, concise servant spotlight. Right on time, too. Though It pains me to say it, I'mma skip out on him for now. Tesla is one of my favorite historical figures, but I have so many archers that I need to give some attention to once I max Gil: Emiya, Nobu, Atalanta (she'll play well with Cu) and even Stella himself. Dildo Ballins Oh, no wonder he was able to hold his ground against kintoki and tamamo on a 1 vs 2 battle. I searched how strong he is but all i get are gameplay stats.

I just pulled him on NA today, so...seeing this just makes the fact I have him now even better looking towards the future

RapidFireToaster He is underrated because he isnt waifu, and not much as husbando. But for me, I really like him character wise and gameplay wise. He is rlly strong too lorewise, he knocked out mordred, mashu, and other servants with them very quickly, and later stood his ground against kintoki and tamamo on a 1v2 battle. I heard he did some cool shit in america chapter, but i havent been there yet. Character wise, I think hes rlly cool. I was glad I rolled him.

Pair Tesla with Ozy's buff success rate skill, and Natural Intelligence gets all buffs guaranteed.

I was pulling for Lancer Alter and I got her and managed to pull 2 Teslas. I'm short on EXP and Ascension Mats so he's only like 50 right now. But trying him out, he is amazing. His NP nukes hard with a chance of stunning and his NP charge up is crazy fast. He may not be as good as Gilgamesh in certain aspects, but he's probably better at farming since he can spam his NP better than Gil can.

I got him today hahaha on story banner. I spent my remaining quartz on the story banner and got him along with Osakabehime, Gawain, d'eon, and Danzo. I spent a total of 108 quartz and 11 tickets. Kinda regretting it because man I might not get summer BB hahaha but at least I felt better because of Tesla's review. I didn't know how to use him before but now I kinda get him.

Waiting anxiously for Tesla rate-up. I just got Emiya on a random single roll, but I love Tesla’s skills and personality, and I can easily imagine putting him in a London or science-themed team. Unless they give official word on the Karna/Arjuna banner, I’m gonna put my money on this guy.

I rolled tesla today and I was so happy

Considering I have Gil, Orion spooked me, and I’m going all out for Arjuna (husbando reasons), there’s little reason for me to go for Tesla. Sad, his attacks are really cool, especially that NP :/

I just got him on the na 2020 gssr was quite disappointed but not so much because I did not have a ssr archer, was looking to get zah count of monte cristo, regardless, he is ssr so I jumped to review.

so i just got Tesla through 1 ticket on his + amakusa rate , definitely not complaining wanted him since london.

Tesla just spooked me. I was trying to go for Lalter. Oh well, guess I get to enjoy him

Good thing i somehow managed to get him as one of my few 5*s, the others being Altera(X2) and Drake

Im conflicted on just having rolled him in NA... (was just trying to get lancer alter) this after getting spooked by orion on the gilgamesh rate up scatach banner.. x.x so now i have orion, tesla, and emiya for archers. Still going to keep saving up and hoping to get lancer alter and then continue saving up for proto arthur and merlin...

I love my Tesla in my JP. He is my first 5* servant and he doesn't disappoint. In my opinion, he is scarier than gil. Let me explain: Gil's NP works very well on servants, but not normal enimies. Tesla's NP has bonus damage against some servants, but also a large portion of normal enemies that have earth and sky attributes. And since the point of AOE NP is to farm / sweep waves of enemies, he can easily and effectively clean the field. Also his NP gain is quite good, because of skill 3. His only weakness is waves of Lancers. :(

Do one for the 3 stars in London. I'm really thinking about grailing Jekyll and Hyde but I don't know if he's great or not.

The pic in noble phantasm section looks JoJo-ish. That's it. You convinced me to spend something on his Gacha.... as soon as I have something to spend for him... and find favor of Random Number God.

He is my.pick for most influential person of the 20th century. So I'm only to happy to have him in game

His solo use is to do comedy with his DC counter part (aka Edison) and Elena. (Jp players just bundle them up as 直流交流AC/DC pair)

I have to be one of the few who was hyped for Tesla not long after I started playing this game. I have been saving my summons since I found out about him just to try and get him.

Was able to pull him fairly early in my summons. I would try to roll for a second but I know I can't get that lucky twice.

Got him out of GSSR, and I couldn't be happier. Well, okay, technically I could if it was Ishtar or Gil, but I have been sniping for those two for months now without any success, so I will happily take option number three considering he still does the same thing: AOE buster nuking, just in a different flavor from the other two, so he can more or less do their job. That said, he does have a big enough ego to rival Gil, and considering he has dark hair like Rinshtar... ... No, still doesn't work. Unfortunately there are some things he simply can't replicate...

got him on a yolo single, was a salty about it since I wanted Alter Lancer (who I got a couple summons later)

Ironically Tesla as a Star servant is one of the few servants that Gil's NP doesn't deal extra damage to. He's one the servants I really want to get, but I'm not sure I'm going to roll on the coming banner and instead wait for the Chaldea Boys Collection banner which contains several CE I'm interested.

I just got his man from a ticket so gotta watch this video !

If I weren't saving up for jalter and if I didn't have so many archers, i would definitely roll for Tesla

If Tesla became Rider, he would ride a car based on Tesla Model 3 or Cybertruck as Noble Ohantasm or Attack for Buster, Quick, or Arts.

Dang, I was so set in stone about rolling for Tesla as I was watching this video. Not sure anymore if he doesn't get his strengthening quest for another 2 years.

Can you do a review on some 2 star servants please?

If we're gonna nitpick something real hard in the localisation, I bet you money that Nat Int will have "Apply random effects" as it's description in game like how Imperial Privilege and Scathach's dodge do despite none of these skills being even remotely similar. I don't expect them to write EVERYTHING they do but something like "heal a moderate amount + chance to improve base stats" on Nero for example would still be much better

Yea that really annoys me too, especially when I need to remember what a skill does because it has so many effects. But to be fair Japan does the same exact thing, all the skills just say "chance of activating random effects"

Do you know when he is getting a banner in NA? I finally beat London and have all the accession materials needed to get him to level 90. It might not be the best team but I'm putting him with Kintoki, *Thunder Bros*

its safe to say that the part 2 banner should show up once the current london banner ends. so my guess is Jan. 5th, maybe a day or two sooner since i don't remember if okeanos' 2 banners overlapped

Quick question, when craft essences say +20% does that mean a flat rate, meaning 300+20=320% or does it mean 20% of the total so 300+60=360%? Btw, I know I'm late to the game on your videos but I just ran into your channel. Really like how you make everything concise and as little fanboyish as possible. Thanks, and the answer is kinda both. If you are talking just one buff it will multiply with your base stat. So for example 300 atk with a 20% atk buff = 360atk. But it gets complicated when there are multiple buffs activated because buffs of the same type add together at a flat rate whereas buffs of different types are multiplied by each other. So lets say you have 300 atk and get 2 20% atk buffs, that would equal 300 x (20%+20%) = 420atk. But lest say you have 300 atk and a 20% atk buff and a 20% buster damage buff (and assume we are using a buster card of course) then that would equal 300 x (20%) x (20%) = 432atk. So you see if you want to maximize damage you get diminishing returns on buffs of the same type, this is the reason why mixing and matching many different types of buffs is important and why servants with anti-x (anti-male, anti-divine, anti-servant etc..) skills are so incredibly powerful Hope that kinda explains it, I suck at math lol

I really don't need another archer right now. Poor Artemis, Emiya, and Nobu are all still sitting in their 40s plus I have a max ascended Gil. So knowing the irony gods it's entirely possible he'll spook me in my attempts at getting Lalter. Edit: And I haven't even been able to get started on Atalanta, poor kitty.

Will there be a second London gacha with Lancer Alter and Tesla on rate up? Because you've actually tempted me to roll on that. Fuck

I already have a grailed Emiya. But damn if Nick isn't tempting...

Ironically, Tesla is one of those rare 1% of servants who don't receive the extra damage from Gil's NP.

Without this dude, it's likely we wouldn't have proper electrical lighting yet let alone this game.

Tried to 10 roll for Tesla. I somehow got 2030 and Kaleidoscope at the same time, but got crap servant wise.

While he does seem to be really strong I don't really need another archer right now, I already have Emiya, Orion, Nobu and Atlanta so I think I'll be good for a while.

I'm in the same boat as all of you. Archers? Emiya, Orion, Euryale, Robin Hood, Nobu... What CAN'T those guys kill? Likewise with Berzerkers, I have Herc and Vlad. But some classes like Lancer, we have so few options. My only good Lancer is Cu. It ends with your options being very limited. So I'll be rolling on Tesla's banner, and if I get him, great but I want Altria Lancer Alter instead.

Yeah FGO really needs to add more Lancers, Cu is the only one I have as well. Rolled for Scathach but failed to get her. As far as Berserkers are concerned I'm good as well; have Herc, Kintoki, Vlad and Lancelot all at max level, don't need another Berserker for a while. I'm also good with Sabers since I have Altera, Salter and Saber Lilly. Besides Lancer's I could use a good support caster either Waver or Tamamo no Mae would be good.

Hey! Look at me! Look at me! Be happy. Just think about it, about 90% of what you couldve got was garbage or something you dont need. But you hit that 1% and got the second best archer in the game. (Gilgamesh and ishtar fighting over 1st place) Im the same, rolled for 2 melons but got lightning instead. I had mixed emotions as well but now im happy becausenI like him character and gameplay wise, But for real tho... if tesla had tits and is a waifu, we would have never felt those mixed emotions because we would just be happy xD

Still one of the best archers, but still not as good as Gil/Ishtar

Gil's pretty far away from his own strengthening and Ea still hits like a wet noodle on NA so him and Tesla are pretty on par with one another.
