It's a machuatl. A primitive sword that consists of sharpened stone between two pieces of wood... but yes, quetz had somehow turned it into a chain sword.

Actually it is sharpened obsidian incrusted in a piece of wood, it is said that it could tear flesh with ease when properly sharpened.

@@AdventurerSmithy Mesoamerican Warfare was strange; Aztec warriors would typically not go for fatalities but instead to incapacitate and to take someone in for capture and sacrifice. Imagine was trying to strike at someone as if it were a sword or bat, and more like raking across someone's tendons with it like some sort of big razor (only really works if they're in cloth armor or less)

It doesn't work on bosses and with the new break bars I would assume it just loses that bar but you have a better chance dropping a 5* in the gacha before that happens

The death rate mechanic in FGO is abominable. Playing for over 3 years and I have only seen an Instant Death pop on a servant once.
