I love how the NP does nothing to him; instead, it's the 2 buster crits afterwards that do over 1.3 million damage and kill him instantly. That's one way to subvert expectations.

You can’t. How this guy is doing this is by exiting the fight before it properly concludes. However this method makes it impossible to advance the story since you technically didn’t finish the fight. Of course he could be doing one of the ceremonial missions from the anniversary, which allow you to re-fight certain bosses, but these are time gated and are only available during the anniversary. Aside from that, there’s no way to re-fight previous bosses.

memorial quests. those are only released on anniversary so players can fight bosses from previous singularities/LBs
