I actually want pvp because aside from events, it almost feels like there is absolutely nothing to do in FGO. PVP mode would fix that issue right away

I love this fight but I'm probably in the minority but I love this as a concept and I hope in Arc 3 we get more fights like this.

@Raul Evans Simple solution is to reduce damage dealt by Servants in these fights. So no one is just able to instakill naturally, considering the limited healthpools of our units. And we also have a system that might be compatible from the beginning: Grail Front.

Didn't realize the gimmick for this one, so my foreigner-less, alter ego-less (other than Xu Fu) account was getting annihilated by this quest. Wish I had seen this before my suffering, lol.

No, he kept the 3 Servants in the back and will only bring them out after you wipe his frontline. ...And they all have 3 break bars and all the permanent buff he casted on his frontlines at the start of every turn.

If each Master is limited to 3 actions per turn (using skills, activating Command Spells, and attacking would each count as 1 action), it could work. Whoever gets first turn would be decided via a virtual coin toss, with "player 2" calling Heads or Tails. It wouldn't be as hard as you think. Only getting 3 total actions per turn forces you to think through said actions so you can't just endlessly stack buffs before attacking.

​@@cameraredeye3115nah 3 action / turn is enough for godjuna to applies gut and buff to himself and remove your entire team, enough action for double castoria to give both of them 60% np and cast invincibility, enough action for any bullshit that exists in this game to happen. And equal np or lvl is not going to make it work either even if you nerf servant damage by 90% since many can charge their own np or buff themself to do 100k + dmg in just 3 action, heck even nitocris can just np you with her 100%+ np charge skill

Daybit 's is different in that the number of familiars he summons is equal to that of yours. If you got six Servants, he will bring six. If you got three, he will bring three. The challenge is that mandatory members are U Olga and Mash

A grail front is the only way I see pvp work. And if you see a masters power level but don't actually see what class servants he has could be tricky. Or if you can leave some high cost servants for defence but can only attack with lower total cost.

I'd argue second hardest behind Cernunnos. That fat fluffy boy deserves his #1 spot, because even with a perfect setup you need some really good RNG to have any chance of clearing that fight without a rez. You could also whale for Melusine, but not everybody has money to spare like that....

Apparently if you bring 6 servants, He'll have 6 attacks every turn as well, but if you bring 3 servants, he'll have 3 attacks every turn. So maybe he matches attacks per turn with servants also? Jeez, talk about deciding whether you want this really easy or really hard. Yeah, 3 servants is WAY easier than 6. U-Olga Marie can deal a lot of damage to them herself, especially with that burn she has in her skill set.

If they ever add a PVP. It must, MUST come with better rates, pity or some sort of adjustment to summoning. The rates are so dogwater that the game would just be super whales running the best zerkers or super loopers at max NP one shotting everything. Castorias with 5 hit invu. Merlins healing 5k/20k hp per turn if they ever adjust stats for PVP OR Dupes for NP level should not be a thing NP 1 only (maybe NP 2) but thats all im willing to budge on. Max lvl 100. Append would be Ok ish. Getting a little extra damage on chains and starting charge could be balanced.

I could have brought 3 servanrs and saved so many blue revival gems… ugh

My 2 cents; people keep dreading PvP while FGO already have an acceptable system to use, the Grail Front. Having limits on the units you can field, strategy on when & where to place & move your pieces, while simultaneously navigating your opponents' units, is a good balancing mechanic for players. Imagine your opponent can only field Arjuna Alter, while you can field 5 low-rarity servant, victor is not so assured, right?

Especially considering some low-ranked servants are really damn strong for their rarity. So many REGEND solo memes. Edit: I can also imagine 2 folks just fielding their Five Stars and letting this be a 1v1. This system would work especially well if servant damage is also cut to make the 1v1s a bit more lengthy. Though I expect that would make Cu immortal- but considering the base damage of Servants, and accounting for reduced damage, maybe it would be business as usual.

Also technically it is never even confirmed that Daybit summoned a Berserker, it is just stated he wanted to summon a Berserker, it is unknown if he actually got what he wanted.

Luckily this game cannot do PvP with the way it's game engine is built. To be honest it's better off without it, we play for our favorites. Actually it's entirely possible to do PvP matches in this game. Grail Fronts are exactly the mechanic to do it with, since your party's cost is MUCH lower than on a regular team. And you're limited on how many moves you can make within a turn, so you must carefully think ahead about what you want to do.

Not confirmed yet, but most people are saying its debunked. All we know is that he's human and up until he was 10 years old, lived with his father who found some ancient (angelic) relic that only activated when daybit was near it, killing both of them. It resurrected him and became a part of him so hes not quite human. Whether that relic has anything to do with bluebook or why it only reacted specifically to him (much like how ??? said it was waiting for bluebook to arrive) is yet to be determined. Apparently the "godly" powers that disintegrated him and his father was so strong, their shadows will persist beyond bleaching or something like that according to the clock tower master that adopted daybit afterwards.

So who is his Servant? And why the hell is the literal Big Bad fighting with us?

It's different because Daybit will bring exactly as many Angels to this battle as you bring Servants. If you bring more than 3 Servants, the fight becomes much more difficult because you can't get to the backrow Angels until the front ones are out of the way. And they each have 3 HP bars with the same Break mechanics: party-wide buff removal on first Break, and a massive damage reduction lasting several turns on second Break. Not only that, but they also come in with all the buffs that Daybit already casted throughout the fight, including but not limited to Ignore Invincible and Ignore Defense Up. This fight can get out of hand VERY fast, and unless you bring an Alter Ego, you may not survive long enough to beat everybody.

Okay but why do i have to fight 6 of them instead of just 3

PvP is more likely to kill this game. This is a game where whales are appreciated as they only provide high lvl support. Now imagine if you have to face them in battle. If there is a PvP system, it would be a version of Grail Front. Even that would be overwhelming with high level players. They would have lv 120 one stars to 3 stars I do agree that we need more permanent content, but PvP is not the way to go

If you want the game to bleed further, then sure.

I have an idea for pvp: Masters are only allowed to use 3 and below star servants. They have max skills and max ascend. They have 1 command seal as well. The only mc allowed is the Mages association mc(the one with card shuffle). The matches are level based matchmaking depending on the masters level.
