My man! I'm a Black Mage main, so I was waiting to see where you'd put it, and what you said reflects a lot of how I feel about it. I got every job to 90 and blm is just the most fun and satisfying job for me. I've always like black mage the most in the entire franchise, so I started day 1 of XIV as blm and never looked back lol. If I had a tier list, I would have a Black Mage tier and everything else below it lol. I do really like ninja as well though. It's probably my favorite melee dps. The mudras and the teleport absolutely make it for me. My top 3 dps would be Black Mage, Dancer, and Ninja, but you've got a pretty good tier list. Enjoyable video, buddy!

Not many things make me laugh out loud anymore, but that ninja intro was quality, especially the mudra noises! Love your FF content mate.

yes, Monk is so fun.., so fluid.., once you get used to the muscle memory (rear, left / right) for the rota (no need to follow the buffs / debuffs much, once you know / feel the flow) ... just keep at it a bit on a dummy, till you got the flow, than its insane fun & fluid

My mans with the tierlist! Even as a Mnk main I can understand the micromanagement with buffs, dots and timers isn't for everyone. IMO feels like a fighting game with Mnk, simple rotation yet hard to master. Thanks for the rating 🙏 (Psst: you can Twin Snakes every 1 other combo, and Demolish in 2 combos. Or make buffs bigger in hud if needed) Lately I've been enjoying Phys Ranged tho, Dnc's been fun to play even with less ogcds b/c procs, En Avant movement, and all the crazy support skills. Brd's good but kinda busy for my slow ish brain. Mch goated as hell even w/ less support but big deeps

I've mained White Mage for years now. Feel sad that you feel that way about it but to each their own.

Honestly It was for comedic factor, I love WHM players in my team don't get me wrong - but fun wise for me when I PERSONALLY play it, it doesn't come close to AST for example

Blm is great.., but on savage & ultimate, need a static that has patience and understanding (that you get less prio for mechs, and you can experiment abit on how late possible you can move etc.) ... in PF doable, but can be a pain

as the jobs I consider my mains and 90'd first, I saw sam. and drg. in goated and was like yes then you did me dirty with sum. while not as fun in trails and savage raids, when it comes to dungeons and alliance raids, I'll pick sum. over my other 2 (sam. or drg.) any day AOE damage and movement is just so great with it.

Your fast "D for Dogshit" for white mage made me laugh. XD I say that as someone who defaults to white mage when a healer is needed. I don't pick it cuz it's fun, I pick it cuz it's super straightforward and easy.

RDM is the best for me as I get to do a bit of casting, melee, and healing on a single job. Plus I have enough movement and self heals for the times I'm too dumb to figure out mechanics quickly ^_^

Monk main here since ARR in 2014, and yes Monk is definitely fun even with all the positionals it did have. It has the lowest GCD of any class ever so you're constantly mashing buttons while up keeping buffs. You can't tell me keeping your mind that busy while dodging mechanics isn't fun. Monk deserves it's own tier, because it is that active!

4.0 healing was probably my favorite healing experience in any game I've ever played on the SCH. They took away and destroyed so much since then though...it's really quite a shame. The healing role is a shadow of what it once was. FF14 healing changes make me actually relate to the Ascians. I really miss the diversity healing jobs used to in regard to dps options. Balancing my role between doing dps (and not this 1-button dps spam crap we're doing now--omg it's the worst) and keeping my bros alive was so fun.

aw lol the three jobs i play the most (smn, whm, war, but i play all healers and blm and drk when i feel able) are the lowest. i get why though. i like them and find them fun because i can turn my brain off and still play them tbh. i'm so tired when i get home from work now that they're very relaxing to play. i don't savage raid or anything either. just let me chill :P i loved the excitement you have for ninja btw; it's really cute. the opening bit was a joy.

I love watching these. None of them agree with each other, but I love to hear your reasons for your choices.

@@Alninioanything a white mage can do, a red mage can do better. Faster rez times + ability to actually DPS (which WM cannot) = WM trash. White mages are just full dedicated healers can cannot solo any content

He is so thin that it breaks the immersion when he try to pretend being a ninja. Am I supposed to laugh at the anorexic guy or what? And as far as I can tell his tier list is based on standing around before a raid, being in a raid and standing around waiting for the next raid, he is not really playing the game outside of raids. Nothing wrong with raid jobs tier list, but the game is more than that and the game kinda hate on you with short buff jobs, it insanely hard keeping your buff up outside of raids, so it get painful playing rotation-buff classes, where you do zero damage until you get done buffing and the buffs constantly wear off. Right now I LOVE sage, because the mechanics is almost always ready for the next fight and you don't get reset on zones. Ninja is painful running around the real world doing stuff and many other jobs suffer from you doing a rotation to power up, then do damage, but the mob died, you try to run to the next, fail and have to power up, but the mob dies, so you never get to ENJOY the power of your job.
