I can feel your pain, been bidding on Balmung since lottery become a thing, got my small house during 6 ward expansion, then by some miracle I got a pretty nice medium house after soooooo many round with sub 0.5% chance. All I can say is hang in there, your server isn't particularly competitive, it is reasonable to expect a medium upgrade before next expansion. BTW Apartment item limit is 100 only, I vaguely remember dev said there will be an item limit expansion in next expansion though, so maybe like you said it will be 200 item sometime soon!

Top top, don't bid straight away. Watch the houses for sale and how many bidders. I got my medium house by bidding last minute and there was only one other bidder. Paissa DB is a life saver.

Yeah, I felt bad though lol.

I ended up server hopping to dynamis so that I could get my medium. There was a bunch of mediums that went up for sale and there were only 2 others bidding on the house that I won.

I have a medium house and I run out of item slots I can't wait til SE adds more slots in Dawntrail

Running out of item slots can be frustrating, but hopefully, the developers will address this in 7.1 and not 7.55!

I stumbled my way into a house friend of mine said a lot was for sell next to his fc house. So was like why not entered at like 10pm woke up the next day and had a house. Right next to market board and summon bell

ive lost 2 smalls and 2 mediums over then 9 years ive played due to long hiatus's trying to buy a new medium but first time using lottery. last attempt 150 players in the lottery :(

im saying it now its not worth the stress im sticking to my apartment lol i play often but i took a break for a while and lost my house so yea not doing that again.

Thanks for sharing your experience! It's important to find the right balance between enjoying the game and avoiding unnecessary stress.

the housing system just sucks, even if you do win the house, when there is no content in the game for a while, or you want to take a break, you have to stay subbed just to go to your house like every month, and then you are back to trying to buy another when you come back :)

I feel you. The struggle is real when it comes to keeping up with the housing system in the game. Let's hope they make some improvements soon.

I own 3 side by side, Expanding to buy the Ward slowly. Drop playing the game to fully house hunt is my only advise.

Funny everyone finding it hard to get housing on materia 75 percent of plots are still empty on the data center

@@EavingTidemoore yea me one of 5 out side of busy time 6pm to 11 pm got a 50 50 chance of ff 14 being a single player game cause your the Only one on the server had limsa all to myself at 2pm not one other person

not 75 % on EU Servers, but we still have quite a lot small houses available. Everyone that really, really wants a house could get one. Sadly the community only values the medium ones. And instead of getting at least a small one, they cry that there are no houses. There are, "You" just don't want them.

sooooo..... your complpaining about getting a house but make a video about how to get a house for everyone xDDD.... think you need to go touch some grass outside and rethink about what your gonna say xD no offense just find it funny xDD
