FFVII Rebirth Demo - Ending & Preview

Ойындар

Aside from the end having Claudia's final words that Sephiroth taunts Cloud with in Remake & that moment overlapping in Cloud's memory during the recap, the trailer at the end differs from the State of Play version with the blood on Cloud's face & the design of the White Materia.

I cannot get over how much they captured this moment… the music is utterly terrifying, and iconic scene where Sephiroth looks back at Cloud is way too damn good, and scary as hell… it’s freaking PERFECT!👌🏻

I noticed that the scene in the thumbnail from the trailer Cloud has blood missing from his face in the next trailer that Square Enix uploaded. I hope it didn't get censored because of the T rating

Now maybe I'm just built different, but personally I would have shot Sephiroth while I had him surrounded instead of standing there as he slowly walked up and killed all my other Militiamen..... But who am I to question there fine work

This was actually a detail I really appreciate, because - _they're just villagers armed against monsters out of sudden necessity._ They're not trained to fight other people, let alone kill someone they look up to. Psychologically, humans have a LOT of things that make them tense up or freeze that _physically stop them_ from trying to kill another person. Your survival stress response has to be explicitly trained to bypass that - _even if_ you know what you should do and *want* to do it in that scenario. Making yourself do that is something else entirely - _especially when it's someone you respect and what's happening makes no sense, like what's happening in the Nibelheim incident._ For context: For all wars up to and including WWII, less than 25% of trained military soldiers in war EVER discharged a firearm, and even then, those who did fire their weapon _didn't necessarily even fire it AT another person._ Getting people to kill other humans is VERY difficult. The Vietnam War is when the US started to understand a lot about manipulating psychological biases and forcing troops to attack other people, which is why by the end of that war, the percentage of troops who fired their weapon was nearly 100% (and a contributing factor to why PTSD was so horrendous in that conflict). That's why depiction of conflicts often gloss over those details, and things like Zombie Apocalypse stories often misrepresent how difficult it is to turn murder against someone who's killing people around you… however, it's anything but that for the majority of civilians. *_FFVII Remake_* first addressed this with Cloud having no hesitation about murdering Johnny for being a risk, while Tifa is still horrified about the idea of killing other people _even if they're enemies,_ so *_Rebirth_* making sure to reinforce this particular detail in a realistic way that more accurately reflects what those sorts of situations look like.
