@@LordOfGrabs There's an area where you can get AP really fast. Probably take maybe 30-45 minutes to max a magic focus materia. You get a little less than 1000 ap per round if you have it in the choco bangle attached to an ap up materia. That was a great video. I can never time the perfect blocks right on normal enemies. No way I'd be able to do it against sephi.

@@LordOfGrabs It's at the bottom of the gongaga region there's an abandoned building that has a fast travel spot for finding a bunch of treasure chests. There's 4 enemy groups (3 inside the building and one right outside) that you can beat really quick with a magnify ice combo. Set up cloud with stagger recovery in his weapon and maybe a mp absorb-ice combo and you should regain all your mp after every blizzaga. Then just save and load after beating the 4 groups to immediately respawn them. I mastered everything there pretty quickly. If you want a more detailed description primaliquid has a guide on it.

Solid play! Out of interest, is there any reason you didn't use Arcane Ward for the spells? I'm at this challenge now so be good to know if its worth using time/ATB on, for this particular build.

Imma be honest, I'm a bad Aerith player HAHAHA so I always forget to pop wards I didn't use it here because I kinda did this build run in 1 take and didn't rerun it since it would seem fake or not genuine at all if I reset the run (dunno if I explained it properly).. But you definitely should be always using arcane ward whenever possible especially on this build!

Which synergy skill you use with Cloud? I've seen you use it a lot.

You can do this fight faster if you just spec into Aerith's damage specifically. I beat this fight in 6:16 without the Phoenix 1 cycle. Also Odin's weak to fire. If you want to one cycle him, get him pressured with that first before attacking with Tifa. And before casting Aeriths spells, plop an arcane ward down so they double. You basically hit 2 15k-20k shots back to back. Shreds their health bars.

The combat in these games are so amazing i hope we dlc with new stuff in it

It does! The Zansetsuken mechanic only charges if Odin hits you more than you hit him. So if you counter him for a 1 to 1 hit, you'll break even on his charges. The counter is the only way I managed to beat him solo

Heck yeah! On my cloud zack run bravery bumped infinity edge from 20k to 32k during staggers up to 40k if de protected

That’s pitiful for all the time he put into this trash game. I beat those bums in 45 seconds maybe less. 99,999 damage from every character, 1 hit pressures and 2 hit staggers. Absolutely demolished. None of these challenges have been remotely challenging. Games completely a flop in all ways possible. This dude has all that time and I dominated every challenge, every mini game, all world intel and crushed the garbage chapter 14, 31 hours. I’m just that good compared to you weak ass gamers

​@@LordOfGrabs Looks like he does have an entry in Enemy Intel, so you would need to Assess him. I just beat this crap finally, and I never want to do that crap again. So glad Assessing ALL enemies is not required for Platinum.

Confused how you had Weapon Ability ATB Recovery on Sleek Saber twice since it only has one. Also Kaiser Knuckels had an extra materia link. I guess I'm missing something,

My ceremonial staff have only 4 slots, but i have lvl 8 army

Finally beat Gilgamesh with this team, but Level 8 weapons. Then Sephiroth nuked my ass.

Did they nerf something in the latest patch? Doing the exact same build with Cloud, I only hit 459 Attack and 319 Magic

basically just building ATB with prime mode heavy attacks, then spamming braver's multiple times which also builds atb for tifa and aerith, and aerith just explodes bosses with spells, tifa will build stagger guage if the situation allows it

@@MichaelThacker-wt3fv Genji gloves, Stagger from Tifa + the materia combination, Genji Gloves removes the 9999 damage limit, Stagger multiplies damage and with Aeriths high mag attack + materia and extra fire damage from weapon upgrade the damage skyrocketed to 61.8k

My sleek saber only have 1 weapon abity atb recovery.... wtf...

I love this video, but i hate using thisbbuild personally.

so the glove gives Damage limit break I assume?

Multiple Fire materias so I can add more effects to fire they all stack! So first Fire is for elemental resist, second is for higher damage, third is for swiftcasting! I dunno if we can stack 2 magic focus on a single element yet..

It does. I am trying it out and Aerith might be a glasscannon herself, but cloud and Tifa are also pretty weak defensewise. Before this I was trying it with Cloud Barret and Yuffie and I was getting to Sephy at least with Barret being tanky. Need to practice this

One of the problems with this setup is that you need to have the manuscripts for your weapons the other stuff you can get without replaying the game on hard mode much like the genji gloved you just have to warp over and beat the bosses in each area. But the manuscripts you have to play the story.
