FFQ&A mit Gaspar Noé: “People are more afraid of losing their mind than of dying” | FFCGN

5:18 You can tell he is having a hard time talking about it. It hits very close to his heart. Gaspar, you are brave for making that film. It must have been painful and cathartic for you.

Time can be your friend or your enemy. It all depends on how you use it or apply it. But Time does indeed destroy all things. It erodes everything.

I've just seen the movie, which I found unbelievable, and I must also admitt Vortex made me cry as much as Anthony Hopkins's "The Father". Most of us who watched Gaspar Noe's latest film felt identified because we have more than a relative with dementia. So, the movie portrays brilliantly what an ageing couple looks like. As far as i'm concerned, it is impossible not to get emotional with these kind of movies.

I wonder if I was a billionaire, would I give this man or some other great artist resources to make a movie with an unlimited budget. I like to think that would be an excellent use for my money, but who knows really? Would the wealth change my thinking?

Hell is the place where the spiritually dead go. Most are this way, we all know that. Every once in a while, there's a light there in someone. That never extinguishes.

big mistake, the soul and the brain is not the same thing.. soul place is the heart/memory in the heart, consciousness is the brain

You're absolutely right. I had a heart transplant 2 years ago, suddenly I no longer loved my wife and kids. I'm now in a relationship with the widow of the young fella that donated his heart to me. Can confirm, soul is in the heart.
