I got OB5 on second page. Rolled again for 6 and got 1 copy, and the 20 parts needed for another. I want to roll some more but left with 16k.

Great video nitelite! I'm sitting at 60K and heavily contemplating it 😂 Initial reaction I wasn't in love with the physical ability mastery since it is just 15% instead of the usual elemental 20% but like you said if you got a lot of physical ability Potency weapons then the costume just power creeps her amarant costume. I have amarant OB9 so getting the new gloves to OB6 with the new costume would make Tifa awesome for me but gotta put a lot of faith into the RNG gods to get to OB6 😂 for now I'm gonna wait and see what the next banner brings us first

I've not rolled just yet, got 106k crystals but I'm wanting to see what the next banner is first. The only real pain is that I want to roll on Yuffie's banner (get wind arcanum and eventually build her with the attack up weapon since that can work for herself and another ally and focus on wind or ice or any other element she gets down the line) before it disappears too. Not sure I want to roll on all 3 banners but that means it's a guessing game because the next thing could be amazing or not and the Yuffie one I know I want but it's risking missing out on one of the crossover banners (and my zidane sword was only ob1 so basically a write off as I could get this higher easily). My problem is I'm not really a huge fan of Tifa's weapons, she doesn't have that many that I think are that good. I'd like to grab this weapon but then there's little in the way of elemental weapons you can throw with it (except the ice ones) to really smash some hard elemental damage. Say with cloud and Zidane sword, he at least had the water and fire weapons and murasame for lightning so he had lots of elemental coverage to make use of the damage boost. My Tifa is a bit lacking so I'd love to roll this and see where it takes me down the line but I'm equally thinking I should just go for Yuffie.

This is an understandably tough spot to be in. For real. I lean toward doing what you want to do with Yuffie, bc that is a solid plan. You could always go juusssst enough to get her arcanum, then save the rest to see second banner of collab. Shouldn't cost you more than 8 pulls to get the costume if your luck isn't even good. Hell, even 9 pulls leaves you with around 80k. That should easily be enough to smash a banner in the collab if you should choose to :)

Its also worth noting as a single weapon banner, the extra weapon that isn't there's chance is added to your wish-list weapons instead (which is very useful when trying to catch up) I actually got 3 of REd 13's fire collar doing this which is nice as someone without cloud's Fire costume/weapon (I do have Sephiroths fire de buff, which I also got another copy of)

My usual plan is to go for costumes. Only have enough crystals for one atm. If the other banners dont grab my attention, ill go back and get nanakai. He looks awesome

First multi started out amazing, I pulled two of her gloves and my final copy of murasame for OB10, now I’m 10 multis in and have 11 stamps and have not pulled another copy of her gloves 🙃 of course I have the worst stamp luck when this banner has more weapon copies on the next pages

It was fun watching you do the pulls last night! I was thinking about it and overall I have actually done about 10-11 pulls total so far. I'm trying to remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure I had about 21k blue crystals, and bought a pack for another 6k red crystals, used 1.5k of the red ones to buy that 10x Chocobo ticket pull. I got the Gloves to OB5(although the last boost was a mix of Tifa parts) and I'm now sitting on stamp 11/12 on the second banner. I had some REALLY good stamp luck! I think I only got 3, maybe 4, 1x stamp. If there ever was a time that my horrible luck decided to take a vaca, I'm glad it was for this banner lol.

Man, I'm so happy that your luck was good!! I'm still a little butt hurt about mine lol and not even because it was bad but because it will almost certainly be compounded when I see the next banner :,( But it's okay! I also had a lot of fun doing these pulls last night with everyone! Thanks for being there and supporting me! It is truly special to me :)

Cant tell if im lucky or not cause when it comes to 5* draw or stamp i got shit but when it came to the tifa glove i managed to get 2 of them from draw alone getting me to 6OB i went through 51k just to finish 2 page of the stamps. Literally i got almost all 1stamp with just 1 3stamp and a few 2stamp and at one point i did 8 pulls in a row with 0 5* which i already felt miserable. In total i only got 7 5* from draw yet somehow 2 of them are the tifa Guide gloves.

Hey, Bro! Have you seen on the Quest with old Sephiroth that he has Three Weapon Abilitys and just two from Materia? I think Reds new Weapon has the same with Fire and Ice and they not give us them just for save us from that Spoiler! Take a look and make a Vid about this, maybe your the first.

I did notice this, but that thought hadn't occurred to me! I WAS, however, thinking that maybe it's some sort of foreshadowing about a weapon in a future banner for Seph that gives him an AoE phys def debuff?

They definitely made the story event more focused on the cutscenes and not particularly the battles for this event. Which I thought was a good thing! I liked playing through this event to see the amazing cutscenes. Also, I noticed for some reason when the Makofiend goes into his second stage I had an Ice breach on Cloud for more Patt(It has 6.8%!!) and Cloud actually cast it on him and it would be applied! I haven't looked during the second stage fight to see if he gets an ice weakness added onto him?? It's weird cause it only says he is weak to fire in the info on the stage select.

That is a very odd find on the ice breach! Cool and likely unintended hahaha The cutscenes were so awesome. I really wish all of the story was done that way. Understandable why it isn't I guess, but I really enjoyed them too!

Two things: 1. I am not pulling on this banner on my main account. Yet. I want to see what the other Rebirth banners will be like first. I still don't have a MATK Outfit for Sephiroth, and I'm hoping he gets one like Tifa's except MATK. I also already have Tifa's FF9 Outfit. The Guide Outfit *is* better and more offensively oriented, but not by so much that it warrants doubling down. I'm not a whale. 2. I have an alt account that has yet to summon on anything. I am tempted to go all out on this Tifa banner with that account, use it as a Tifa main, and just hoard the ever living crap out of blue crystals until someone like Vincent Valentine shows up lol.

I wanna summon for my Tifa team but something is telling me wait. So ima wait. But i keep hearing she's top dps with these gloves. That's what makes it hard

Tifa isn't my favorite, so I will be waiting to see what else this crossover delivers before I decide to pull on her.

Id recomend at least pulling one copy of the weapon even if you don't want the costumes for future proofing purposes. At least you'll have the opportunity to upgrade it with character specific parts if you decide you need it later. Otherwise, it's gone forever.

@PumpkinFox Yeah, that's the sticking point. The weapon is so good but you can't get it once the banner is gone but at least there's a way of upgrading it over time without the banner if you already have it, even if it's the 4* version

This is one of the rare occasions where I don't particularly recommend going for one copy. Just my 2 cents. I totally understand waiting and/or not pulling. But I would caution you against trying for one copy. It takes utterly too long to star up when your ONLY means of doing so is character specific parts. Unless you are a dolphin or higher, then you can purchase them pretty regularly.

Yeaah... No I don't agree getting 1 copy lol. 1 copy does almost *nothing* for you... It's not like Sephiroth's Kuja Blade or a utility weapon, *then* I'd say getting 1 copy is okay. This main draw of this weapon is it's DPS and it's awesome R.Abilities which both are underwhelming at OB0... Yes, you *could* upgrade it overtime but like Nite said it can take literal *months* before that happens and by that time we may have something better- I just wouldn't bother if you aren't trying to invest in it.

Not interested in the weapons really due to them being limited. Only going for the costumes.

I think Ashura is meh, we had already 2 event weapons with MATK 27 and also 2 event weapons with MDEF, but better than nothing...nobody will wear it as primary or secondary weapon tho.

I somewhat disagree. Unless you mean secondary as in second main weapon. I think it's a fine sub weapon for 2 reasons though: 1) It can replace the holiday ones when MDEF is more important than PDEF, and (2) it can help a full magical team where you need 6+ sub weapons and may not be fully stocked yet.

For people who have played for a while, it's whatever, but younger accounts will struggle building up MATK sub weapons, so it is useful.

dont know about best , but after the game gave me OB6 for basically free, i decided it was time i gave back a little for half a year of fun . bought 3 of the $60 packs with cloud, tifa and aerith weapon tickets . also , the step up banner is trash . i thought the rate for tifa weapon was boosted for it but its not. i already went in 3k crystal before i check the rate lmao, dont be dumb like me

If you went in 3k, it might just be worth it to finish it out for the guaranteed copy at the end? Then again, you got the OB6 which is BOMB. I'm so excited for you. This is like..... the weapon I want at OB6 moreso than any weapon I've ever seen in this game, and I just couldn't get there......yet. I'm at OB4 after 60k crystals. Saving em back, but I kinda wanna see the next banner before I go back in.

Oh yeah, I knew she would absolutely SLAP with OB6, OB10 is actually a bit unimaginable for me lol. 1300% is like 2x the damage of almost all of my other weapons, and if you could add a PATK buff as well..... wowzers! @@unskillfulmaster

It's a meh banner, some days ago you were saying the ff9 limited weapons weren't necessary & Tifa's weapon/costume almost similar to ff9 Cloud's... If you aren't maining any of them just skip because they are limited or wait for the rest of the banners

I got ob10 tifa gloves but i only used her outfit to pass bahamut ex1 since i had to use her as a debuffer/healer lol

It *would* be the best weapon in the game if it wasn't limited. Why pay for three pages of stamps just to get it to OB3 when you could instead get her outfit plus two other arcanum outfits with weapons that you can wishlist? Is a non-OB6 version of this weapon worth that sacrifice? Anyway, I like the outfit, but I was hoping for a debuff extension like Red's recent outfit. That would have been amazing for Tifa, IMHO.

Yuffie's Arctic Star. I am actively putting it on my wishlist to at least get it to OB6. For one, I want to use Yuffie for physical teams. Being able to boost someone to high att pot, and herself mid pot on 1 cast is INSANE! Plus that weapon has Phys att boost and (de)buff extension. So even if I'm not using Yuffie, I will use AS as a sub weapon 90% of the time on someone like Tifa who is actually good for SubDPS/debuff. And the other Yuffie weapon that has HP boost and (de)buff extension, I usually put on Aerith, or whoever my healer is, since my healer is also doing either buffs or debuffs.

Yup! I'm definitely using Yuffie's weapons as subs on Tifa too. Glad I got Yuffie's costume to go with it instead of saving for going long on banners like this that are, frankly, wasteful after you get the outfit(s) you want.

Well, normally, I would say no... it is not worth an Ob3. However, I genuinely am shocked that with 20 pulls, I couldn't get it to AT LEAST OB5. And If I got it to OB6, then yes, I absolutely think that would be worth 60k crystals for my account. Maybe not for everyone's, I can grant you that. But it would make me super strong.

Yeah; sorry you didn't have very good luck. Averages can be pretty deceptive, and our tendency to mistake randomness and evenness can lead us to risky expectations. By my math, there's a 12.5% chance to get 0 extra 5* Gloves when pulling on three full pages, and there's a 30% chance to get just one, for a combined probability of 42.5% to get less than two. (That's using a 1.8176 stamp average per pull while accounting for the 4 guaranteed Glove slots and the one guaranteed 5*'s increased chances.) Even with all of Tifa's weapon parts that have been given out so far, the purples and blues probably won't give you enough to get from OB4 to OB6. In the context of spending around 60k crystals, those odds aren't great even though they're slightly below "average."

I feel like tifa’s costume is gonna be like how sephiroth’s fire mastery outfit is to clouds fire arcanum outfit…i think we may get a physical ability arcanum outfit for someone else soon…perhaps cloud?

Pretty sure between Amarants Claws and Zangan Fist once you have both of these to OB6 Tifa can compotently cover elemental and non elemental attacks easy, never need to draw again. You max them out shes crackeed. Looking forward to my draws waiting till March when the other banners have dropped to figure out how I'm spreading 100-120k.

The new sub weapon is a better version of Matt's bahamut reaper

Not even close. These stats are for both weapons at OB10: Ashura Patk- 420, Matk- 448, Boost Matk +27, Boost Mdef 24. Baha Rapier: Patk- 388, Matk- 465, Boost Matk +24, Boost Mdef +40. Ashura has higher Patk, but that's negligible since these are Magic focused weapons. And only a 3 point difference in the Matk R. ability. And I would argue that the Bahamut Rapiers ability is better and actually usable since it has the diamond sigil break. Honetsly the Bahamut weapons are GREAT free subweapons.

​@@Nitelight9 I don't either simply because I don't have them anywhere close to OB10 and didn't grind Bahamut co-op. They CAN be useful, if you wanted to go out of the way to max OB them. But yea I don't use them because I don't need them. But they are good for free weapons!

I'm really salty with this game lol, i'm a day 1 player and i'm thinking to end it soon. I know is getting better and all but us 1 day player got the bad part, like the battle pass wasn't as good as now. (If you bought the first 2 you kinda lost money if you compared to now) The first crossover didn't had the multiple garantee weapons drop. (I Needed to go to 3er card for zidane weapon and only got 1 extra weapon from tifa that time... for 3 cards!) So 3 weapons (2 were garantee) in 3 card And me been salty i bout the red cristals with the seph weapon parts and use it in a free weapon to overboost by mistake.... i know is my mistake but why is that i thing!? that the same area for lvl up is the same for overboost, that's bullshit! (One way to fix it SE is to not let the "optimize" option to add generic weapon part) lol those are expensive or realy realy hard to get just to make it easy to lose because a mistake.... Lol nvm just wanted to let the stuff out, i know 1 was my mistake and the other 2 where stuff that got better but just don't want to be a test experiment so future player get more fun i'm literaly a day 1 player without missing a day of play.... and i'm tired.
