@@SilverFang95 There are two types of "remission". 1) Partial Remission: The cancer is still there, but you are "taking a break" from treatment, and you have to keep the cancer in check. Thinking of it in a "cronic" state. 2) Complete Remission: All traces of your cancer is gone. Dose this mean you are "cured"? No, but it means that you have to keep checking, and if "reoccurance", or if the cancer comes back, it usually does within the first 5 years after first diagnosis or treatment. So. In a way, yes, he has beaten cancer, however not in the 'absolute' sense, you are talking about.

idk. the one i got is pretty flimsy and hard to get anything accurate tbh. mostly got it as a joke so it doesnt bother me much, but if thats the standard, its actually insanely impressive how accurate he harmonized playing two at the same time.

I agree but depending on the type of cancer it is better or worst, and at least it is not a prion disease, there is no cure for prions since they are just misfolded proteins, which causes them to be degenerative diseases with no cure

There's something charming about seeing two professionally dressed musicians on the stage with the performer, a highly regarded composer, not just being able to not only play the instrument of ridiculous sounds, but he took the time to learn every note to relay this perfection and then the pianist just stays silent and still, but adds into the chaos Props to the camera crew / editor for fantastic overlaying and editing as well cuz that one zoom and the panning from keiko to soken was amazing and killed me

I love how the pianist raises her eyebrows up as soon as Soken said "la-hee" lol Everyone knows the meme here, it transcends the language barrier

I hope everyone knows there's a side quest called la hee which involves screaming into the forest. I shit you not it exists and im convinced this is what Soken was doing

The best part about the digital fanfest is that they gave us a really high quality Soken performance with no crowds, that way we can mod it into Rak'tika. #WelcomeBackSoken

i've been coming back to watch this now and again since the fanfest, and keiko's face has me in tears of laughter every damn time 😂

After hearing this, and his incredible heartfelt speech at the end of Fan Fest... Can we agree that Soken is easily one of Japan's greatest?

Seriously whenever I'm in a bad mood or bad day this will always make me laugh and brighten up my day. Thank you so much for this gift Soken!!

This is so precious and priceless! This amazing composer is fighting against cancer and as soon as he gets out of the hospital, he finds the strength to ''remake'' one of his music from Shadowbringer on stage with great humour. How is it possible to be this amazing and this passionate? I'm deeply moved by this man!

This man was working on the game's music while battling cancer in the hospital. He was working from the hospital this whole time and he has the courage to do something like this on stage infront of millions. THIS man is a legend. He's a god. He's a true WoL.

This made me laugh

When he was singing with both of the otamatones going at the same time, i cried, he's just so in his element

From "Do you know LaHee?" all the way to the quick scampering off stage, this is a masterpiece of a performance.

The fact that he just runs the fck away at the end makes this 20x better

The best part about this is that we know he can sing, he's singing like this on purpose

I have heard he can't sing and needs to be autotuned. This man is still a freakin legend among composers. I have mad respect for Soken.

I really appreciate the way he full on runs off stage
