Two things: 1. Thank you for entertainment during these trying times (maintenance). 2. When I got here, the likes were at 669 and the comments were at 69.

So, on Dynamis, it's actually NOT rude to go into later level dungeons without your job stone. Due to the powerful leveling bonus, it's very easy for sprouts to hit class level 30 or even 50 or 60 without ever actually getting to the MSQ prog point that allows you to pick up job stones (whether that's because they're single-classing MSQ or because they've been doing a ton of roulettes/side content on their way). Because of this most people running roulettes on Dynamis are very understanding of sprouts not having job stones, and it's not seen as a bad thing here the way that it is on other DCs. You were actually in the clear to do leveling roulette as a gladiator the whole time! (: Source: I am a Dynamis native who spends 99% of my time, actually doing content on Dynamis. (I'm actually Solo's next door neighbour!)

@@cassandratruth i was honestly amazed that of the 30-40 ish roulettes I had to do I only had 1 person ever upset at me, and it wasn't even for the job stone. If anything, people seemed to kind of adopt me a bit and tbh that was very wholesome

As another Dynamis, we love pur Sprouts dearly. Just beware of the strangely consonant heavily named Lalafells. They use unknown teleportation magicks and only speak to shill gil.

With road to 80 and the exp bonus earrings, I had an archer at level 30 when I killed the boss in Sastasha lmao. I was just trying to get my bonuses for getting a new character to level 30 on a preferred server.

⁠@@zw6333 in particular, those lalafells that are named like Homestuck trolls (six letters for first and last name) will always be ARC/BRD because they can then clip and then shoot very quickly so it allows for the most efficient leveling. When they are not speaking about Gil they always say 0 because that allows for either teleportation or confirmation.

Next challenge idea: You try to complete the game... but solo!

Also for what its worth, i have an alt that im not doing any teleports on. Just walk/flying and airships. Its been interesting so far. But man is it long. Watching the holiday events change around you horrified me.

Honestly, I prefer the Stream Footage over the Clean footage, especially when chat interactions get into the video!

With Dawntrail coming out, are you going to return to Ul'dah to unlock Viper? All you need to unlock it is have a level 80 character and have the new expansion. In the patch notes for the Dawntrail release it made mention that the Viper starting quest would be in Uldah.

​@@rathgamesyou should do it. All it would take is 25 minutes a day for roulettes for less then 2 weeks. Do it all off stream then pop in an unscheduled stream for the last level. Only the true fans who have stream alerts turned on will be able to join in time to see the achievement.

During that Gladiator grind to advance Qarn, I wonder if aetherial equipement could've helped. Pink stuff that can drop from a battle leve chest. Iirc, they also have slightly higher stats for their level. Albeit random substats... So, you'd have to get a chest (1/2 or 2/3 leve from personal experience?), have it contain equipement, that equipement should be for your class and, assuming the substats are what makes them stronger, have a nice draw. Seems highly random but it's not that useless considering the huge amount of allowances accumulated during this challenge.

Oh yknow, maybe. We tried to get some for a while but I dont remember if we figured out if it wasnt worth it for time or if something changed with the drops. I feel like I vaguely remember that it might not drop anymore and only comes from rare dungeons like cutters cry but I could be wrong

500 each is actually a pretty good price for darksteel ore I have been selling the nuggets that take 3 ore plus what ever crystal/shard/cluster they take for 1500 each for 6 years now and never changed the price my retainer collects it all so its just passive money but adds up alot if you send your retainers out fairly often.

Just like you're gatekept to Thanalan, we are gatekept with Dawntrail, so we are kindred spirits on this episode :)

When it comes to Marketboard purchasing in these types of videos I really do recommend looking at other DC's prices as Dynamis due to its small population is usually pricier due to low supply. However I do understand this is kinda against the challenge as it requires hopping around many worlds.

Reminds me of the time i leveled Bard to 60 or 70 (i forgot) to unlock Dancer on the account of my gf because she wanted to play that class instead. She wasnt far in the story though so Aurum Vale all the way it was. Took me 2 days i think and that already felt awful. Nice achievement!

As a lunatic who frequently blows herself up for shits and giggles instead of using return (Granted, I use Blue Mage) As soon as you started talking about the travels between Ul'dah and Drybone I started saying "Or you can die to return to Ul'dah" louder and louder until it was brought up xD

Watching the seasonal events come and go was crazy.

10:19 guys doing battlecrart leves really sucks. It cannot be emphasized enough how much the battlecraft leves suck. I decided one of my alts needs the Lord Protector title and I can't wait to never do a battlecraft leve again.

I made an alt that leveled gladiator to 90 without ever getting the job stone. I used a lot of beast tribe and challenge logs since I did not have any msq left for easy exp. I would run Haukke Manor since its as high as you can go before people starting looking at you weird for being a tank without a job stone. Next time I will make sure to turn in the msq quests on it since normal jobs are easier to level.

I Iock myself away in the inn room in Limsa Lominsa, I am hiding - too many other people - especially other Miqo'te - it's nice to see people around, but it scares me. Excited for new expansion. ☺

I know it's possible, but now I kinda want to see an Eorzea-only run of this. It's a tooooon more options, but you'll never get to the end of Stormblood. You can get to the Lochs but you'll likely never be able to fly there. Goals would be: GC captain and seal cap for each, buy their Lieutenant Set Buy each Allied Seal item Crafters n Gatherers to 60 stories All jobs to 60 minimum Unlock all expansion jobs One job of your choice must be level 100 Palace of the Dead Floor 200 complete Enough money to buy a small house and an apartment(so about 4 million gil) Gold Saucer Chocobo Racing capped out Triple Triad every NPC in Eorzea Both Alexander and Bahamut Raids complete Both Crystal Tower and Dun Scaith Alliance Raids complete Unlock and complete all dungeons(non-solo) And finally the job of your choice must also get a single DoW/M relic weapon for ARR and Heavensward. So if you pick Warrior, you have to get the completed ARR Axe _and_ the Heavensward Axe.

About the water thing. I mean I would hope they either have magicks to purify water or regularly boil it. Aka the og way of purifying water. Doesn't clear yo everything but, especially with the Nuhn they have(no matter how much I loath most of the Company of Heroes), I would assume even if they were bathing further down stream he'd be ensuring they purify the water.

So small question on the mercenary hire rule: Do they have to be all Gladiators or can you hire mercs of any Ul'dah class (presumably the ones you have access to)?

I could have done any uldahn class that I had, but it was also way more fun to take 4 gladiators in :^)

and with the upcoming update, you can add Viper to a list of available jobs fer Ul Dah.
