Similar thing happened to me for a while when I played through the FF and DQ series sequentially, but for the games themselves rather than music.

4:32 epic best part starts here IMO. Absolutely loved this entire mission with Jessie, it's so insanely good. The race bike part, the softer part with Jessie's family, and finally the assault on Shinra factory followed by Boss fight, and of course the escape back to the lower levels on parachute. Just too good.
