You would be better off chewing the fig tree down. This "tool" is a great way to cut off your own body parts, and not much else.

Bro I got 12 sutures, and 10 staples on the back of my hand, using an angle grinder equiped with a cutoff wheel. It was a 3" long laceration, with a cut artery, pretty deep, lots of blood. My index and thumb have some loss of sensation. I'm just imagining having one of those kick up, and landing on a shoulder/collar bone. Loss of limb, facial reconstructive surgery, reincarnation,... no thanks. Best to learn from other people's mistakes. Use proper tools, for the proper job. Use ALL safety equipment and personal protection equipment necessary. And it's better to not modify/alter power tools to "gain" functionality.

You need the cord so you can retrieve the tool after its all gone wrong, so many battery tools never seem to come back over the fence.

Interesting and inventive, but I don't know why I would, I have half a dozen chainsaws. All much more efficient than this. My 36" Stihl will cut through a 30" log over and over again in the time it will take your invention to do one cut on that little branch. which is why "few people do this".

The OSHA violations on this video is already unreal and grinders are supposed to be used with two hands and center punches shall not be mushroomed one of my buddies hit a mushroom axe We were chopping wood and one of the pieces flew off in the hospital thought I shot him with a 22

If this is such a great idea, Makita would sell a conversion kit. Work a job, get money, buy an electric chainsaw.

You absolutely have to learn to weld. You only do collage, it's very ugly but above all it's extremely dangerous.
