Jason Butler and Otep are only trying to cash in on the SJW woke crowd who get off on attacking others who don't agree with stupid stuff such as pronouns and their favorite words tend to be words like homophobic, transphobic, white people, racist, ableist (that's a word now I guess) and the list goes on. Seriously, I work with these people and they repeatedly use these words in conversation throughout an entire 8 hour day. They're absolutely insufferable to work with. 99.9 percent of the time, liberals are just white people who love to complain and enjoy calling other people names. They also laughably think that they speak for African Americans when it comes to racial injustice despite never having to deal with it. At the end of the day, they aren't doing anything to bring change. At least, not anyone from Gen Z.

I mean when both members are like, internal strife is the reason we quit and there’s only one other guy hard not to see it that way lol, at least when bands usually say stuff like that there’s more members so it’s more or less skewed, but this one’s cut and dry.

Hope we see some more Night Verses material or solo output from Aric. His stuff, solo and with Night Verses, hits.

Saw them at Knotfest LA and they were WOW even though I don’t listen to them.

I believe I saw them with Red Sun Rising and The Used. Seemed like a weird lineup but I liked the music from each band so I went and they killed it

Seen them at exit 111 , they great!

A big shame! Saw them live and it was awesome! They were a supergroup, I hope they don’t have any bad blood. Luckily music lives forever!

Shame. Such a great band. I hope it will inspire both sets of people to even better things.

This is pure speculation from an outsider but I feel like Jason can either be the warmest and nicest guy to be around or he can be a raging @$$hole with a bad temper and a big ego. He seems to try so hard to present himself as an accepting and friendly person and for my experience the people who have to try so hard to project a certain positive quality about themselves are actually the opposite deep down and they are trying to overcompensate.

Jason killed another decent band? Shocking.

To be fair, the guitar player brought the chariots energy to the band, I can't see it having the same energy without him. You can tell even in the interview, the vocalist trys to spot light himself more than the actual band. I was looking forward to eventually seeing the band live once, but this kinda kills it for me.

all three had insane energy in their previous respective bands. jason will will keep being jason (for better or worse) and keep that energy up.

Really sad. They were doing something different from anyone else, and when a band that puts something new to the table stops, the rock and metal world loses a little piece of itself

But damn that message he puts out is a bit over bearing. If I was in his band I'd probably just be like ok can we have a few tracks where we aren't starting a revolution?

Unfortunately I feel like there's bad blood. Steve said that he wouldn't go into the details, but that it wasn't a very good split. Jason's talented, but I'm starting to think he might be hard to work with. That would explain why Letlive had so many members come and go

It's not that hard to imagine considering he always seemed rather 'passionate' about his beliefs. I know he has a good heart but sometimes he comes across as an overzealous ass. Maybe he was trying to push his political agenda too far and the other guys didn't feel comfortable with it.

Huge shame, man, I loved that band to pieces. Something really messed up had to have happened for both of them to leave at once. I’m overly glad Jason plans to continue the band but it’s just not gonna be the same without those two. Regardless I’ll be a 333 fan for life. Hope everything goes well for them.

I suppose they’re gonna Sex Pistols this thing with just one album.

Pretty off point. They were not actually official members of the band. It's the singer and a producer and Travis Barker co-owns the band. They were probably told it would change after a trial period, but it never did.

Such a shame. I loved that drummer. Saw them live very recently in europe I don't how I feel about the new line up. I mean the base guitarist was booty shaking for than playing bass, its kinda weird seeing booty shaking in a fever 333 concert🤷🏻🤷🏻

This seems to be a trend with Jason’s projects. I don’t think it’s ego though. Seems like it could be political stuff. Maybe Steve and Aric just got sick of everything being political or identity based. Looked like steve was sick of hearing it in that interview.

Saw them at U.S. Knotfest 2021 and they seemed pretty good for the first few songs, but as soon as the lead singer stripped down to his underwear and started breaking and climbing on random shit. I thought they were one of the cringiest try hard bands I've ever seen, then at the end had some off the wall speech about race. I'm just standing there like "wtf are you talking about?". Not surprised they broke up 👎

I mean, like it or not, nu-metal is kinda making a resurgence. Though , regardless, I wouldn’t exactly classify 333 as nu metal, the riffs are a bit different than what I’d usually call nu metal. Rap rock is a better label for them.
