This is modeled after the very tail end of japanese feudalism. The ending of the Meiji period to the very start of the Tāisho period. It's beautiful!

It's actually not a frog costume! It's a Kappa outfit and they're Japanese Yokai that more resemble turtles than frogs Edit** I meant frog not turtle in the first sentence 😭 that's probably a confusing typo

I aspire to have an island a fourth as cool as this one one day. XD Your videos got me back into animal crossing. My island progress is very slow, but I've had a lot of fun with playing with custom designs and trying to make something that looks decent with the items I have.

i audibly gasped when i saw the wild log benches used as part of the scroll in the 2nd rep's house! they won the game indeed that was brilliant! (really super duper cool island all around, it was incredible!)

wouldn't hurt to look up some of the terms before the tour maybe! not an insult just a tip since you seemed to be struggling to commentate especially on the interiors haha, it may be more interesting for u and the viewers to know the background of the rooms and what their name means to appreciate it more :)

This island is tied in my mind for the title of best island I have ever seen with another stunning Asian island. It’s really incredible what people can do with a theme that you might think would be a bit limiting but this island proves otherwise.

Thanks for sharing this! I love a well made Japanese island and have always wanted to make one. I have a huge love for Japan because so many of my favorite things come from there (they made this awesome game so that alone makes them the best).😅 I find their folk lore and history so interesting. They do have a !ot of Japanese items already in game but I wish they had some more. Like the outdoor hallways, sorry don't know the proper name, aside from the Kerokerokeroppi ones.

It’s somehow both inspiring and discouraging at the same time. I don’t have the vision or creativity to make an island this good. I’ll just aim for simple lol
