1. How to assign two periods continuously for a LAB. Solution: While creating the said activity, Go to Data---->Activities---->add---->Set duration as "2". 2. How to assign two teachers in same time slot during Lab periods in a class in such a way that one set of students (Set-A) can join Lab-1 of Teacher-1 and another set of students (Set-B) can join Lab-2 of Teacher-2, respectively. Solution: Firstly create two subgroups of the said class/group (for this go to data---->students---->subgroups, and select the class/group and create its two subgroups) then add two separate activities for lab 1 and lab 2 and select respective teacher/group/subject for each activity). You are done.

Indeed a deep insight into a very useful software. I have downloaded it from the prospective link but it in not installing on windows 10. Windows defender is making an obstacle or something else. What could be the possible reason of not installing.

Sir, the option of timing has not been given in the activity portfolio. Because of this, random timing is allotted to teacher for specific subject for specific class for specific day. What to do?

Sir, Thank you for your wonderful video. I have a small problem while creating time table. In my school I have two language teachers- One for hindi and one for sanskrit. Students have been given option to choose either hindi or sanskrit. Hindi teacher need to take combined classes for two divisions 11 A and 11 B students (at the same time for example say Monday 10 AM) and Sanskrit teacher need to take combined class for the same 11 A and 11 B students who have opted sanskrit at the same time Monday 10 AM , Can you please guide me how to solve this problem. Thank you once again for this informative video

@@mathprof8266 it worked. You add a single activity for (11 A , 11 B) for hindi similarly a single activity for sanskrit... After this we can use a constraint activity same starting time .

Go to data ------> time constraint----> activities------> A set of activities has a set of preferred time slots. make not allowed or cross every slot except where you require to place the activities either in first slot or anywhere else.

You have added 8 more activities than available slots. pl check the total activities of 10th std.

Your question is not clear, if you mean to say that the first class is being taken by a specific teacher/class teacher every day and he or she is also taking other classes in between also then you can use the constraint " A set of activities has a set of preferred starting time" in data---->time constraint---->activities). Let a teacher is taking 10 classes in a week and you want to keep his /her class in first period then go to data---->time constraint---->activities---->A set of activities has a set of preferred starting time---->add---->select teacher and class from drop down and set all the periods as not allowed except the first period on each day and the click add/ You are done.

You can download older versions from FET website, that may work.

How we can remove an error in activities. Say like " can't generate b/c you have 48 tags for 10th std and total slots are 40"
