I used the angle guide for the first time this week on a house reno project. It worked well. The accessory kit did not come with the usual Festool booklet, so I watched this video and Brent's video a couple times through. Thanks guys . . .

Can you do a calibration video for the FS-WA? To get it dialed into make 90 degree cuts

I bought the angle guide for cutting stair stringers. Worked perfect. Didn't fit the Makita track though so I had to purchase a Festool track. It also comes without the full kit.

Will you come out with a video showing how to calibrate the angle stop? I’m having difficulty getting mine dialed in

Will Festool have a trade-in program for the old rail squares. That would be a great way to promote recycling and offering an apology for selling the inferior one.

I am still in shock digesting the fact that Festool actually gives you an accessory for free when you purchase the rail!

The grub screw in the angle head is a Torx 15 in my angle head to set my FS-WA-VL guide extension. Festool should be able to tell us the Thread Size and Pitch on this adjustment screw so we know how far it moves per turn, but I did not find that information in the downloadable notes. Although I could have missed it. Even if they did include it one must still check for final accuracy.

I bought the new Square kit about 3 weeks ago what a difference with the one with the MFT/3 table. Just got the extension with stop yesterday from Hartville hardware theses guys are the best. Nice love it.

Are the old guide rails going to be discontinued, or do they have some features the new ones do not. Just curious as to why the new ones are not being offered in some of the super long lengths.

I can’t find the FESTOOL 205183 STM 1800 Limited Edition mobile saw table can you tell me where I can purchase one?

I bought the Table last month and it came with the square. Then relised the new version wkit is totally different. Especially in quality wasn't real happy about that figured for a $875 table they would include the better square..

Anybody know if the joining bars fit into Makita rails? Half the price of the Tso ones here in the UK.

I don’t see why not. They’re both the same design rails. I use both my Makita and Festool on my Festool track.

Which one is more useful: MFT 3 table or Festool 577157 Guide Rail Accessory Kit With 55-in Guide Rail, Guide

The job got in the way today, so didn't get to see the live session🤦‍♂️

I got the new rail square kit about a week ago, I love it. You forgot to mention that you can also clamp it via the end of the square where the repeatable cut thingy fixes on. I bought the repeatable cut thingy as well, only thing I was disappointed about with that is that the connector rails stop you being able to cut certain sizes because the stop slides in the same groove, oh and it’s heavy which can make it feel lop sided, but I can live with the weight.

I just got the extension with the new angle stop. I think there's overlap of about 80% but this has more functionality but less of a range for different lengths (17"-45" inches)

Excellent German engineering in cooperation with US.

I like festool, but I have the Mafell MT 55 and the connector for the tracks is better then the festool.

New microphone sounds like a kazoo

look here, Baldy. cut to the chase and show the tool.

TSI or Woodpecker products also work well.

I don’t mean to sound negative but…I bought the fixed Festool rail square. It isn’t square. Unusable waste of money. So tell me (all due respect) why should I trust that an adjustable rail guide is accurate?

I’ve had an angle stop now for quite a while now and I must say it’s the only piece of festool that I’m disappointed with. Not very accurate you always have to check the angle. In fact I just don’t use it because of this.
