It's a great tool that I want to own, soon!

How can you make a profile on molding that is already installed? Your display shows it was molding on a table top, but what do you do about molding that is already installed in regard to being able to make a DIY iPad?

What replaces the 130 now to be able to use the contour pads and make my own with the festool make one kit.

Another awesome video! Curious, is this tool continued? Not showing on the FT website. I can get it many places, just concerned if it's gone and will be tough to get the pads and such.

It was discontinued in 2022. Festool historically stops ordering accessories from their suppliers, as soon as they drop a machine from the catalogue. I.e. if you have the LS 130 or plan to buy it, consider buying a few extra of the two standard pads, and those of the seven extra profile pads you think you are going to need the next 10-20 years.

Just a heads up for anyone in uk - bought a few of these but didn’t come with contact cement

I hope Festool will make a battery version, like ETSC, DTSC, etc., on the same battery. It has low power and it is possible.

Yes, but is there one single example of Festool dropping a corded version from the catalogue, and introduce a cordless version years later?

I cant find this LS 130 anywhere - have you stopped doing them ??

It was discontinued in 2022.

For certain tasks this sander is really useful, however Festool have decided to discontinue it.
