It looked like you had the suction turned up high. For sanders (except for the planex), I run the vac low so that the suction isn't impacting the finish.

I did have it on high. I will have to try it on low suction in the future.

Use high on the Rotex 150 too
I bought mine when they were getting rid of stock of the pre bluetooth sander kits for a discounted price. I don't have any of the ergo batteries with bluetooth.

Is the battery the same design/shape just with out bluetooth?

Yes they are the same batteries except for they don't have bluetooth. The bluetooth ones should fit in my ETSC. I need to figure out if my ETSC is compatible with the Edge Sanding Guide. Some models are not compatible I have heard.@@daddysharespace

Interesting, I am considering getting the edge sanding guide. When I do I will have to see if it works with both my corded and cordless 125.

I have considered it. I think that I am a long way away from hand tools simply because of time constraints. Even with power tools I am struggling to get to every thing that I want to do.
So are the batteries not interchangeable with other festool tools ? Also it would be amazing to see the difference with the bag and with dust extractor. Supposedly the bag alone is supposed to be pretty amazing. Sedge on festool Friday did a demo but that is not even close to real world comparison in my opinion. 😂😂.

I find the dust collection with this sander FAR better with an extractor than just the bag. The cordless tracksaw does great dust collection without an extractor, but the sander really benefits from the extractor.

You know what I believe it was the tracksaw and not the sander now that you say that. That would make sense due to trying to keep the build up of sawdust off the sanding pads. I run the ETS Ec 150/3 EQ-PLUS and ran it one time without dust extraction. It definitely did not work out well. 😂😂
So do you actually make anything or just like to buy tools? II have looked at your videos and don't really see any projects you have completed. No offence meant, I am genuinely curious how you use those all those tools :)
