Festive ringing of the five bells of Suno for the baptism of a child
The Baroque church in Suno (Italy) was strongly desired by the Bishop of Novara and inaugurated by him on 1 May 1776. Attached to the apse is the bell tower with a square base and five bells in C major, originally cast in Milan in 1840. The two major bells cracked at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century and were then recast in the mountains.

The bells are rung according to the traditional technique called concerto, which consists of bringing the bells up and then bringing them down one at a time to form complete musical scales in a major tone. The five bells ring to celebrate the baptism of a child.
The new church in Suno was built in the second half of the 18th century to unite the two parishes in the village that were quarrelling with each other. The church was built on the foundations of an old 15th-century oratory, which over the centuries had stood in the centre of the village that had meanwhile developed around the medieval castle. The suppression of the two parishes resulted in the transfer of the title of plebeian church to the new one, dedicated to the Holy Trinity. The transfer of the honorary title also led to the transfer of the bodies of the two saints, who protected the town. The beautiful church was officially built between 1768 and 1776 in a rather elegant style; the exterior is preceded by a large pronaos supported by two tall granite columns and surmounted by imposing statues. The imposing façade anticipates a very solemn and elegant interior, culminating in the magnificent scurolo housing the two patron saints.
