I love your travel vlogs, they're so well put together... I'm so glad you met Lucy! And I hope in the future you will find more opportunities to meet your friends from faraway. I love Terry Pratchett ♥ The Discworld books are so numerous, I haven't read this one yet. I'm halfway in the Rincewind novels, and I've completed the witches and Tiffany Aching. There are graphics online with gides for these inner series lol. I'm sure you will appreciate his humor. You are probably right about his play with words, because I only find him funny if I read him in English. I first read him in Portuguese and I missed out the jokes.

Here's me with another comment 😉 So, A wizard from Earthsea... I finished this book and had to read it again, imediately. It was so different from anything I had read before, it had a different beat. I finished it so confused, thinking I had probably missed something, but wanting to go back and get it right this time. And I did get it. And I loved it. Not many months after that I read it again, and all of the 6 books in the Earthsea cycle. It's very special and deep and feminist. It really speaks to my soul, these books. I've also read the mixed reviews, but I hope you read it with this in mind Mary, it's not like most fantasy books, it has deeper meanings to it. But I think you will love it too, and be special in your life 😊

I read The Secret History last month and I have so many mixed feelings about it. Hi sister Mary! Can’t believe it’s vlogmas time again… and I feel like hugging that tea advent calendar, immensely beautiful. Also I highly recommend “A Thousand Splendid Suns” by Khaled Hosseini… I do get emotional while reading something sad but never actually cried. I was sobbing the whole time reading this masterpiece. ♥

I really enjoyed "The Five!" The author also started a great podcast that goes along with it ("Bad Women"). If you haven't seen Merphy Napier here on KZread, she has been going through all of One Piece, and has a lot of great videos about it!
