From Fesley to Harley Benton to Firefly as well as Kramer, Jackson, Squire, Ibanez there has never been so many affordable options for new or older players. Great review!

In the 80's you could not even touch a Jackson.Charvel,Kramer or Ibanez for under $600

I have to say i am very impressed at the level of quality a person can get these days for under $250!😱 As a Guitarist that grew up in the 80's we had NOTHING like this back then! IF you did not go with a Charvel or a Kramer both which were cost over $700 back then there was not much out there. $239 would not get you a new good playing/sounding guitar, you could buy used and get something OK for a few hundred. Visually i really like the Blue one.

I have a Gibson 1956 ES 125 that was considered an"entry level" student guitar when it was new, and ANY guitar picker would be lucky to have this one in their arsenal. it's truly an amazing instrument. I started playing in the late 1970s (man, I'm getting old!), first on a Checkmate acoustic, then on a Sears SG Copy. Both were absolutely horrible, but I didn't know it! Modern students are really fortunate to have quality guitars to learn on, that are really affordable. Thanks, Marty! Rock On! 🎸🤟

That came well packaged. The guitar is very easy on the eye, and the pickups don't sound too bad. How does the tremelo stack up? Nice playing as well with a bit of shimmer. There are so many value guitars now, firefly, Harley benton, Vintage guitars and many more. Vintage make a really good Les Paul type of guitar from what I hear. Nice to see your dog again at the start, unfortunately our wee dog passed away last Friday morning at 13yrs old 😢.

Sorry to hear about your dog, what a bummer. My dog is 14. He's still got a lot of energy and is quite healthy but he's slowing down a lot. The trem in the guitar is pretty good man. It's a 2 point tremelo so it has a nice feel. The but seems to be cut very well too. I think with some playing a string stretching it would hold tune well either some fairly aggressive tremolo use.

@Ranch5150SkinWalker Thanks Marty. He was part of our family. He was struggling to breathe on Friday morning, couldn't get up, and was in a lot of pain. So we had to take him to the vet to get put to sleep bless him. My partner and kids are finding it really difficult at the moment. Thanks for the info on the trem, and that it's usable. I can't believe the quality of most of these cheap guitars that are coming out. The big boys must be frightened of losing business the way that the market is currently. I would definitely consider adding something cheaper like this to my small collection. Even as a project.

Hey Marty. Fesley sent me a guitar to review as well. I finally got a chance to sit and play it for a few hours over the last couple of days and I couldn't agree with your review more. There's really nothing not to like about it. The pickups surprised me too. Especially, the clean sounds. And the breadth of sounds you get across all the three pick ups the five positions and the rolls offs make it great for a cover band setting too. Now the trick is finding something original to say in a video. LOL. Thanks for an outstanding and comprehensive review. Mark

Wow! I'm like a lot of other people. I am blown away by what I am seeing and hearing with these new Fesley models. Their older offerings were pretty cool. But man... they kicked it up a notch or two! I've seen a few other vids now, & each guy raved about these. They look so cool, and sounds like they play great too. As always... you SMOKED it with this one, Marty. What a player you are!

When you thought you were good on sound, and then install a set of these Iron Gear....its like...WOW! didnt realize it could be better (and on a budget too) . Just good P/Us on the cheap. Just like this Fesley, just good stuff on the cheap.

I have seen this Fesely Guitar 🎸 on a few KZread Channels... My wife & I both love the color... Personally Depending where you gig you have to be careful of guitars 🎸 getting damaged.. From Patton's... Look Nita Strauss had her Pedal Board Stolen last year at A Guitar Center Class basically Selling her Ibanez Signature Model and Marshall Amps.. it happens... I not the $2,000 guitar person. Personally I like building & modification of budget guitars to make them play at a Pro Level... Look Eddie Van Halen played a Reject Guitar he modified.. Prince Preferred Cheaper Guitars for Studio Sessions he liked the Raw Sound... Slash use to play Chinese Guitars before GNR'S first Album...etc... BTW I really liked Your Rig Rundown of Lizards Prince Tribute band... Cheers 🍻 🥃🥃 🎸 🎵🎶🎵

Just as a FYI Ibanez Offers a RG gio for a little more than these @$279 and Jackson has the Jackson Dinky JS22 DKA Arch Top @ $199! I would love to pit them against each other! Really curious which ones do not really need anything real major done to them for me to play on stage

Yeh, there's a lot out there at nice price points. Such a good time to buy affordable guitars. The Gios are pretty rough in all honesty. The QC is poor a lot of the times and they have some unbearable fret sprout. Electronics some times have issues too. The Jackson's are superior. I e experience some fret issues with them as well but QC seems better on the low end Jackson guitars vs lower end Ibanez Gio models. This Fesley is superior to both in my opinion. I think since they sell direct they are in batter position to offer higher quality at a lower cost 🤷

That looks good, i like the purple. It sounded pretty good, supposedly from what a couple other people are saying these fesley guitars are made in the fender factory in china. I bought the first dinky style guitar, its ok, i was noodling on it last night and noticed the neck is very sensitive to being bent, i gotta check it out and see whats up with that cause i mean any subtle push on the neck and its a slight dive bomb, any thoughts on that? Great video as usual, thanks Marty, you have a great week 🤘

I was just wondering why I don't have a purple guitar. Almost bout an Oscar Schmidt a few years about for about $220 that was a LP clone in purple that is not offered anymore.. kinda wish I had. I don't NEED to buy a guitar... dang that PURPLE is sweet eye candy! LOL .. And the price seems pretty reasonable at the moment..... I hope you understand the dilemma you have put me in! LOL. the big question is ... would you spend YOUR hard earned dollars on one or opt for something a little higher on the scale that already has the upgrades? Maybe for you it wouldn't matter as I believe you could plug a cardboard box with a popsicle stick neck and rubber bands for strings into an amp and make it sound great! LOL . Thanks for any info and nice playing.
