Glad to see you had a smooth crossing. We were on the Bilbao to Rosslare ferry on Sunday 15 January. Was that rough we spent 6 hours through the night just circling off coast of France cause was apparently too rough to enter the open sea. Glad he told us when this was passed. We set sail 11am Sunday and didn't dock until 4am Tuesday. Was walking like I was still on the boat for five days. Safe travels back in blighty :)

Its the spinnaker tower Dan lol, been there a long time, my Mum used to have a pub on Hayling Island and saw it on shopping trips to Portsmouth lol. Omg they also had one Great Yarmouth, Thetford, Huntingdon, Stafford, Bristol, Taunton and last but not least Castlemorton nr Malvern, so for the last 30yrs i was holiday relief for them and loved it, a bus man's holiday for me, no hubby or kids yay, just the pub to run, loved it.

O wow. We live on the other side of Portsmouths harbour. You are on our home ground. If only we had known you guys sailed into port here. The high lit “shard” as Mazzy named it is called The Spinnaker Tower. It has Restaurant in the upper level giving a beautiful view over the area on a clear day ( including where we live). We would have loved to show you guys around, including an area where you could have parked up close to the harbour for seven days for free (no facilities) and explore Portsmouth and Gosport. What made you pop the stickers on your headlights., I am sure there must be a reason. When you think of the weight on those ships, you can’t imagine they could float can you. I remember taking my mum to France many years ago by coach on euro tunnel , , mum was wondering when we were in the tunnel if you be able to see the fish , haha I always think about that. Bless her. Wish she was still here to do it again with her. We cruise a lot we like walking around the ship foe a good walk a few times a day, surprising how far it is. It sounds like you had a better night.

Loved your trek around Spain. Brace yourselves, it was -7 degrees this morning where I am 🥶🥶welcome back to U.K. 🤭you had a good ferry crossing well done Mazzy 🤩🥳

Hi.... I last watched your video going to Spain from Plymouth so I thought I would see how it went on your return, I hope Mazzy is better this time. (By the way, getting out on deck and seeing the horizon is the best thing you can do because you get ill because you brain is getting conflicting messages. You eyes see that you are not moving whereas your other senses feel you are moving. This confuses your brain which in turn makes you feel ill. It's better if your eyes see what your body is feeling..... Capish?) Anyway, we have done the trip to Santander many times, once from Plymouth before Brittany Ferries sailed from Portsmouth because of the P&O Pride of Bilbao sailing to Bilbao, (which we did aswell). But we have done the Pont Aven oh, a dozen times or more when we travelled to Porto in Portugal to visit family. But we used to go as a Foot Passenger and hire a car in Santander for the 10 days we used to stay. Much better driving a LHD car in Europe. Just makes things feel relatively natural. We always used to get a Cabin though, a few time we got a Commodore Cabin when one was available, nice having a Balcony as we both smoked in the early days. But I loved it, especially spending time in the Piano Bar.... We did have a couple of rough ones - in fact one we sailed on the 5 November 2013 it was REALLY ROUGH! (Force 10/11) People were falling over quite often and the shop - well, it looked like a bomb had gone off! But we spent a long time out on the rear deck holding on for dear life...lol. I actually slept on the Floor fully dressed! It was THAT bad! But luckily we don't get the dreaded Mal de Mer. In fact it was so bad and we had to go so low that we had to dock in Plymouth instead of Portsmouth - the organised a coach for those still needing to go to Portsmouth as we did as we live in Southampton. But that was the only time it was really bad. Anyway, I've written this before I've watched your video so hopefully it's a smooth one. Just get out in the fresh air - seriously. And not think about it! Bon Voyage!!
