If you say the sweep pattern is correct then that tells you the valve isn't rotating it's in one position. Show us that sweep pattern on a rotating valve it would look more like the first valve highlighted

may be you need automation line for inspection valve

I keep hearing mixed feedbacks. I have a set of ferrea competition plus valves, what’s the max that can be taken off of the valve tip or is not not recommended at all when shimming/checking valve lash? Motor is a 2jz.
