Percorso: parcheggio al cimitero di Castelmezzano (PZ). Si percorre il sentiero delle Sette Pietre, costellato di sculture contemporanee. Si scende fino al Ponte Romano, dove inizia il sentiero, che costeggia il torrente Caperrino. Alla fine del sentiero iniziano le ferrate Salemm, che conduce a Castelmezzano, e Marcirosa, per Pietrapertosa. Le abbiamo percorse entrambe nella stessa giornata, ma questo video si riferisce solo alla Salemm. Per la Salemm si attraversa un ponte nepalese (lunghezza: 72 m, altezza: 35 m). Presenti molti supporti, ma spesso il cavo è lento. L'ultimo tratto era chiuso (necessario prenotarsi in anticipo al tel. indicato). La ferrata termina al belvedere sopra il paese di Castelmezzano. Si attraversa il borgo e si riprende la via per il cimitero.
Lunghezza: 5 km (anello). Dislivello: 250 m, da 630 m a 877 m
Livello: EEA. La ferrata è tecnicamente facile, ma ha un paio di passaggi impegnativi e esposti che possono risultare ostici per un neofita. Se si affronta anche la Marcirosa, valutare l’impegno fisico

Go down to the Roman Bridge, and follow the path, which runs along the torrent Caperrino. At the end two via ferrata begins: Salemm, leading to Castelmezzano, and Marcirosa, leading to Pietrapertosa. We did both on the same day, but this video refers only to the Salemm. For Salemm, you cross a Nepalese bridge (length: 72 m, height: 35 m). There are many supports, but often the wire is loose. The last section was closed (it is necessary to book in advance at the indicated tel.). The via ferrata ends at the lookout above the town of Castelmezzano. Cross the village and take the road back to the cemetery.
