At 4:38 the flag person finally did a decent job. The other times were a complete joke.

The Pagani Huayra driver was sleep, he heard the V12 from Laferrari and woke up.

The Huayra didn’t start later though; they were both pretty even. The LaFerrari just has the better power to weight and torque. The Huayra also has turbos so it needs to build boost. But they both left at similar times, but the LaFerrari smoked it, as it should.

Mason Jones The Pagani is only PROBABLY faster by top speed. But the Ferrari is way quicker in acceleration. The Huayra was tested at 10.9 secs in the 1/4 mile, slower than the MP4-12C. The LaFerrari has done 9.9 secs. It’s not even close.

I find it tough to blame the drivers on any of these, all the flags waves were different, and all except the one at 4:37 were really really bad. Clearly psyched the drivers out on all but 4:37.

2:25 the girl with the flag messed up the start from the la ferrari driver... she puts down the flag halfway and stops at first which makes the lambo driver start, and the ferrari driver whaits until the flag goes down completly which she did afterwards...

Meanwhile 918 and GT2 RS schooled everyone all day, run after run, with the Chiron and Regera a bit behind. At least the Regera was reliably launching thanks to its powertrain, but the Porsches were just ballistic missiles! And their drives knew how to launch on the dot. Others were just competing for the worst launch of the day.

J D The Aventador LP770-4 Superveloce Jota also used launch control, the LaFerrari didn’t. In a proper race between the two, the LaFerrari would smoke it.
