In this video, we drive one of the latest models from Maranello, the Ferrari F8 Spider!
Paul was lucky enough to get behind the wheel of the Italian supercar, named after it's engine, which was named the greatest for the past 20 years! The lineup of V8 Ferrari models started with the 308 many years ago, and now the F8 gets a turbocharged, 3.9L V8, which revs to 8,000 RPM.
It's packed full of technology too, no doubt brought over from their years of racing in Formula 1. The front air duct and active aero spoiler help increase downforce, whilst the new front radiators and air intakes are derived from the 488 Challenge car and designed to improve cooling and to reduce drag, straight from motorsport!
Pricing on F8 Spider starts from £225,000, but Ferrari help to keep the cost of ownership down, by offering 4 years warranty and 7 years free servicing on every new Ferrari model. That's something you don't see on your every day car!
It's no question that the F8 Spider is the best in it's class when compared to competitors, there is something very special about driving a Ferrari!

Great video again. After listening to the engine sound of these new models i can now understand why the older naturally aspirated models are appreciating so quickly. I think your last video on the V8, V10 & V12 reminded us how important the sound of a wailing naturally aspirated engine is.

I hate to admit it, because I've never been a huge Corvette fan, but if Chevy can get 650 horsepower out a NA V8, so can Ferrari. And an 8300rpm, 650hp NA V8 for $100k? Ferrari's are superior cars in just about every way, or every way I guess, but imagine looking into your garage at the $500,000 you just spent and seeing an F8 Spider OR a blue C8 Z06, and red one, and a black one, and a white one and a yellow one. That's crazy.

The F8's a fine looking machine, the 812 Superfast isn't. Just my view. I would like to hear the naturally aspirated noise, but at least it's not electric.
I find it just a little bit ridiculous to have a fully aluminium based car, and then put a ton of pretentious carbon decoration all over the place.
Rich people can afford them, I'm on Universal credit.

Hello from Los Angeles California 👦🏻👍🏻🏁🏎 I know the Ferrari's are the fastest around in road course track with short straight due to it's maximized Aerodynamic Down Forces. Though, Not as Fast as the Aston Martin with Long Straight, in GT LeMans Series. There are 2 things I don't like with Ferrari the Paddle Shifters don't Turn with the Steering to be able to Shift in mid exit Curve..... The 2nd is Not a Proper 6 Speed Manual Transmission...lol Great Setting Awesome Roads very Scenic 👦🏻👍🏻🏞🏁🏎 I do like how the Hard Top tucks away in the back

100,000 pounds will get you a Corvette. I don't see 200,000 pounds more car in the Ferrari.

Another ridiculously priced car in the world of the C8 series Corvette. If the chip shortage didnt happen or supply chain disruption then these cars are laughable for starting price alone.

GM is a larger company thay can amortize the cost of such endeavors, Ferrari simply cannot.
