That DBS is timeless, what a beauty!
I can't think of a more fitting vehicle than an Aston Martin for this part of the world. Classy, refined and downright gorgeous. This car combined with the breathtaking scenery of the Highlands truly is something special.
I still don't understand how this channel hasn't 1-2 million subscribers... Top quality content 🙌🏽

The DBS is may favorite AM, but nothing like a Ferrari V12!! The TDF is absolutely perfect!! Great content mate!

@Valkyrie 007 hypercars are dumb, there’s no hypercar, just high tech super car that are in different price brackets, in the 70s/80s/90s there were already 1000hp cars, but they were not called hypercars, it’s a dumb name and comparing cars with such a big price difference is the dumbest shit i’ve ever heard

@Valkyrie 007 i’m sorry but the hypercar definition doesn’t make sense, the miura is a hypercar too then since it was so advanced at the time

@Valkyrie 007 Lol. Ferrari could easily make a car that could compete/destroy the Aston Martin Valkyrie/AMG project 1. Ferrari is a company, and they will do what is financially and/or socially attractive to them at the moment. When Ferrari made the Laferrari along with the Mclaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spider, where was the Mercedes hypercar? Where was Aston? The One-77 engine made less horsepower than the Laferrari from a bigger V12 lol. And btw, the Valkyrie is a COSWORTH engine. Formula 1 is the pinnacle of motor sports, and unsurprisingly, Ferrari has the most titles in history due to the brilliance of their engineers, drivers and Enzo Ferrari (even though they suck now due to current rules favouring Mercedes). Also, you comparing the Valkyrie to the SF90 is laughable. The SF90 is a luxury car with a real interior. The Valkyrie is a literal race car. And the production version is nowhere near being done....
I'm getting a bit older now and like the comfort. Would go for the DBS. Beautiful looking car as well, definitely a classic in waiting.
DBS and DB9 are the ultimate Grand Tourers. Loved the video. The Highlands are my backyard and my DB9 will love it when I send her home.
The TDF is unbelievable, but the DBS is my dream car. DBS every single time.
Couldn’t have driven them in a better place. Absolutely love the road to Fort William.
I appreciate your work, very much, James. Good content, well delivered. Your business acumen is also to be lauded. love the "bunker"

Great photography... Nice time of year to be there too. Bit slippy on the roads, but less crowds as well... Enjoying the videos 🤓
GREAT video, James! Love the comparison between your fabulous cars. Your descriptions are unmatched among auto KZreadrs.
DBS for me, I'd never kick either out of bed for farting. Just suits me more. Manual, more laid back.
Your content is always amazing James. These cars are insane, your video production is awesome. I absolutely love the music too!
F12 tdf for the sound Dbs for the beauty
I love these cars!! Thanks for sharing and keeping me up at night dreaming of these cars! Best KZread channel!! Keep it up James!
Great great comparison! And what a beautifully shot vid! My choice between these two of my favourites would completely depend on my mood.
Great Filming Sir, The roads up there are fantastic - I did the top route via Durness last year in my DB9 Volante, now I've got a DBS Volante your video makes me want to do it all over again....... especially after this lock-down years limited my day trips...... Please keep posting to keep the winter blues away
Beautiful work James. Lovely video.
Two fantastic NA V12 motors James 👌bloody great video, I enjoyed this 🙌👏
Brilliant filming mate You are the most underestimated KZreadr in my opinion You should’ve already hitting your first million subscribers 👊
Great video, great contrast of the front engined V12’s👍
Really cool content. Very classy mate. Thank you. 😎
The golden light of a Highland autumn.......Great photography and excellent drone work, nice one James.
F12 TDF is one of my all time favourites . Great video wish mine were half as good.
Music to my ears with the sound of them 2 love it 👍🏻😍😍and another epic video
Awesome video👌2 of the greatest sounding v12 or what!!!?👍
James I have driven those roads to Fort Bill many times and they are epic. I plan to drive up in my DB9 with my mate in his Virage when its permitted. To me the DBS sounds better but TDF is bloody wicked. Great video sir well played
Fabulous ! The cars and the scenary !
That's type of video we like, interesting and exciting. Keep up amazing work cheers :)
As always, James the only man in the world to share such a unique content !!
Wonderful drone video along the water through the colorful trees.
Great film @mrjww - haven't had the pleasure of the TDF but am lucky to own an AMR Rapide with a slightly modified version of that wonderful 6l NA V12. The thing that strikes me about the Aston is it can do Jekyll and Hyde, the shouty side of its character is nothing like as extreme as the TDF (although the 4 pipes on the AMR defo help) but it does the GT wafting so much better when that's all you want. That TDF sound epic though, the downshifts are something behold!
Another great video
Stunning views, incredible cars, great day. Tnx
Mr JWW you deserve a million subscribers just for the type language you choose when reviewing.
With those roads and those two gorgeous cars You just created the best scaletrix set for Xmas 🤪🤭
Fantastic to see you giving both these cars a good run. So many sit in garages not being used. Came through this road in Sept, Green Welly was a bit busy. My 2017 4.5L Twin Turbo V8 Land Cruiser doesn't match your two dream cars 😎🤩but what roads and views, amazing.
So glad the tdf is still on the channel, such a perfect car, always way more drawn to the front engine ferraris over the mid mounted ones.
Mate, dude! This is wonderful content.
Great content btw 😊
Awesome video James! 2 beautiful cars and beautiful scenery! Reminds me of our Nova Scotia Hylands!
Thanks for sharing this epic road trip ...well timed coz the gritters are coming uk car seen will be on lock down till march . Stay safe and enjoy..
Love your content♥️
James! I love the channel! Great choice of cars. I was fortunate enough to buy a 2009 manual transmission DBS earlier this year. The TDF Is on the list too but that is out of my price range for the time being. I had to settle for 997.2 GT3RS 3.8 which also a magnificent car! Thank you for everything that you do.
Those roads look amazing! The scenery, the sounds, the cars... amazing! I'm going to have to take my R8 GT up there!
Love the F12. I was so glad you decided to keep it. One of the best Ferrari's ever made.
Great video. Been to the Green Welly Stop many times as I go to Oban at least once every year. Love it up there, like a second home.
Just beautiful. A fantastic setting to wring out those V12s.

F12 TDF has already become an all time classic. One of the last of the spieces.
Ahh....the Green Welly Stop at Tyndrum. I couldn't even tell you how many times I've whizzed through there on the way to Nevis Range & Glencoe to go snowboarding in the past... Fun roads indeed! That stretch you stopped at to swap over at Bridge of Orchy is such a prime overtaking straight before you climb up to Rannoch Moor. Happy days! (Nice view from Ballachulish Marina to end with too...)
Oh boy what a fantastic pair to take to the Highlands the roads, the views, what more could you want in November from the UK. Hopefully we have a part 2 👍👊💥
The DBS is timeless, what a car!!! And is manual....
DBS mate is such a great example of a car, that TDF sound!,,,
Great video James, problably the best you've, done so far in my opinion. Two amazing V12 totally diferent animals back to back, beauty and the beast actually.Just love the DBS though, what can i say. Way to go!
Awesome. Would love it if you gave more detail on where exactly you were e.g. the car park at the end
I love you Ferrari f12 TDF and you Aston DBS... They are both amazing ... Thank for this amazing video...
Wonderful to see these V12 GT cars enjoyed in such an amazing part of the world. Different eras of course, but who cares when they both make you smile. Don't forget to remove fuse 22 on the DBS if not already, improves that exhaust sound greatly. Consider putting that DBS grill back to stock Silver too. Have fun!
The TDf is seriously special, great to see it being used as intended sir!
At 8:24 the sound of both cars passing the camera. Sheesh. I could listen to those V12’s all day.
Yep, the views up there are just stunning mate. Level 4 lockdown kicking in from Friday from Stirling down to Glasgow, Ayrshire, and Lanarkshire.

You should go to the Isle of Skye and head for Applecross Pass on the peninsula of Wester Ross. Hopefully the weather holds up for ye bud.
Great content, both gorgeous cars.... Of the two it would have to be the Aston, the deeper burble is far more befitting than the manic shriek of the Ferrari. I also think the Astons of that era are still some of the most beautifully styled cars ever made the DB9, DBS, V8/V12 Vantage all future classics. The scenery though is spectacular and well worth the effort to get there.
mr jww thanks for the F12 TDF content!
Need to get those ‘12’s in the Clyde Tunnel - windows down of course - 😉 👏🏻
Beautiful final vantage point ! Both cars are stunning
Has to be the TDF. The sculpture is perfect. Plus the drama and noise is just has that X factor for me more than the Aston.

I really enjoy your videos. The production value, with the drone footage etc, is outstanding. I'll never have the money for either car, but it's nice to see them. It would be great for you to detail the roads a bit in these, so we can lookup where they are. I do a lot of photography (do you need a car photographer?!) so would enjoy to take my camera up there, maybe in my 1972 MGB. It's no AM or F, but fun to drive nevertheless.
I still can't believe for the life of me that Jww doesn't have at least 1m subscribers
Saw your TDF near where I stay, was surreal 👊
@mrjww I am happy to see you letting your metal head roots come through
The music at the beginning tho... You're better than a 2000s car show
I was thinking to myself "These two stopped right there in this fuel station. This deserves a picture."...and then you mentioned, "...it's only Diesel". Ahahah.
Unpopular opinion. If I were completely disregarding the value, with the TDF being a lot more expensive, I would definitely take the DBS. The DBS is just so seductive. It has to be one of the most beautiful cars ever made. Not to mention, the manual gearbox. V12s are a dying breed, especially manual ones. Surely the DBS is set to appreciate in value.
Two great cars in my great country :D And great weather for filming too, bonus!
Great content.
Goals in life. Good job mate
Another geat review by MrJWW. Two of the best V12s in fabulous scenery. Nothing else sounds like the tdf though. What a car. One of the all time great Ferraris.
James your taste it's just top notch, the true V12 which combines the purity of driving and the Monster that they become each one with a distinct character. A real duo in the most beautiful roads in the world. You have shown that your project has really grown-up and how much you have been investing, the results are very good. That detailed feedback makes all the difference, congratulations the best naturally aspirated of an era.
fantastic content
That F12 is going to be worth a couple million pounds some day, what a machine!
The want for a DBS is unreal, you’re a very lucky man!
Your TDF is my dream spec Ferrari. Great video.
Such a lucky man !! Switching from TDF to DBS !!!
Very very special!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I am glad the TDF didn't go anywhere, that is literally the perfect spec. Keep killing it james, when I come from Australia to the UK I would love too meet you mate. Obviously when the world is safe to do so lol
Love to see cars being driven in our majestic theatre, I would love to see more in the future and a bit further north
2 fantastic cars on fantastic roads loved it
Wow! You guys were up EARLY to shoot this! What a pair of fabulous stable mates; two of the most beautifully sculpted GT's on the planet, dancing around one of the planet's most stunning landscapes. What's not to love about this wee film? THE GREEN WELLIE STOP! Bloody legend! Hands down for me, the Aston Martin, and absolutely manual! You Sir are NOT an Automotive Lifestyle Vlogger! You Sir are an Automotive Lifestyle Content Creator Artist! You also, undoubtedly have the best creative team in the business surrounding you. Yorkie's drone shots are outstanding. @@MrJWW Continually outstanding! How come a U.S. channel hasn’t offered you your own show yet? However, I’m aware you have so many other lines of business in development and in motion, that you may not have the time for a regular tv slot, also I appreciate the need to be in control of your content. Just caught the Emirates film of the Pagani airlift. WOW! Now that was other level 🤯! Then to see the Pagani factory at the end…. A work of automotive art being created in a work of art.
