The pads are a custom compound for us by Special Brakes in Meuspath. They are just sitting in a Dixcel box:-) The set Runs 2400€

Interesting with the Ferrari brakes! I track a ZR1, and it uses the same rotors, but not the same pad compounds; stock it runs Textar 4300 front, and Pagid S600 back. I'd be interesting in hearing which aftermarket pads the Speciale runs. Also, side note, the ZR1 comes stock with pool noodles to stick on the rotors to protect them from chipping when handling the wheels.

Watched all the way until the last second for THAT FOOD SHOT BABY!!

I suppose at the nurburgring as well, although the track is long and there's lots of heavy braking zones, there's also plenty of times where the brakes have a chance to cool. My M2 brakes got warped from just 3 track days and Im convinced it was one of the shorter tighter tracks at the start that did it as there wasn't enough space to cool them down properly as we were limited to 5 laps a time, short warm up lap and short cool down lap... yes you could do more of both but then you're only doing one "hot" lap until you get another slot which wasn't ideal. Anyways point being.... all the car companies testing their cars at nurburg, they get brakes that are great for that type of track but do they accounts for the smaller tighter tracks well enough when we're talking about cooling and reducing possibility of warping. I just don't see how an M car can get warped disks from not much stress (i'm not a pro driver on the limit but I do appreciate warming up and cooling down a car). Ya nah mean?!

135mph with the UP, Misha. How? :) you must be screaming it! I have basically the same engine as it's a Fiesta Zetec S, 1L triple, direct fuel injection, twin cam, turbo, 125PS. Loving this mix of content lately, many thanks.

Question for Tim, is there any special process when changing brakes on a Ferrari that's different from normal cars?

You only see the closure at the end, you can still go fast as long as you slow down for yellow zone

I was told not to turn the steering angle of the hub by moving the disc, I was told to leave the other side wheel on and move it with that

Clement Tang me 2..... had the type Z on a dc2. All it did was overheating the discs on track even after long and different bed in methods. Gone through 2 sets of discs.. then replaced the type z with yellowstuffs and all problems were gone.

I tried horse meat in France, not my cup of tea lol.

Is that not illegal?😂in Ireland there was a big scandel a few years ago where meat company's where mixing horse mince with beef mince and selling it as beef😂red hot 😂
