I unexpectedly ran into this car and was surprisingly shocked of how good looking it was: very low to the ground and very wide. It looks so much better in real life. The GTS version would be mandatory IMO. I honestly did not expect it's to be that nice. It's a modern Dino, the baby of the family....

I’m glad you don’t like the car, makes me feel good that I have one on order. If I had the same taste as yours or thought that you were in any way honest or objective, I’d be seriously ashamed and rethink my purchase.

Dont know what this guy is talking about. I thought this was the best looking Ferrari to come out in a long time since Pininfarina and many others think the same too. Probably a better car than the SF90 not just in terms of performance but also looks. The driving characteristics are great because of the rwd configuration.

The red one would be with blu seats and everything else black (just like the sp Daytona) while this azzurro california would be paired with dark red interiors (bordeaux)

Great review PJ and fun roast. I've had 296 gtb for 2 weeks now. In my opinion the car looks great but with different colors. Mine is traditional rosso corsa (boring I know) but I enjoy the look. I enjoy the 165 hp electric only mode and all in qualifying+race mode the best.

I agree. I put a $25k deposit 2 years ago for delivery of this year. When I went and saw the car in person at the reveal last year, I didn’t like it. So no 296 for me

Generally Ferrari reserve those old designs for limited edition cars, but not quite sure why they decided to give the 296 GTB that treatment. What I don't agree with this person is that looks are quite subjective and trying to go off of that will take you nowhere. This comment section alone shows the disagreement of which car people think is the better looking. Legends like Frank Stephenson who designed (F430, P1 etc.) rated this car and said it looks good.

I don't think talking about the reasoning behind the model changes the way it looks. If I got one of these I'd put aftermarket parts from someone like Novitec to make it more mean looking, because the front end looks paper thin from top to bottom. Performance-wise I'm sure it's still a great drive

I actually found this video because I searched "current Ferrari design sucks". I wanted to understand why. It's true, the front end looks like someone ran over and flattened a frog. The rear is funky but without round tail lights it's not a Ferrari. Without a V8 or larger is not a Ferrari (Enzo's words, not mine). A digital dash rather than exquisite analog gaugers = fail. No manual transmission option = just another poser mobile.

Just marketing strategy 🤷‍♂ (2) They have to make the cars a bit ugly so they can make it pretty again in the next gen. Just good for business. After all. No its not the ugliest Ferrari. There are plenty others uglier. However, u are correct: looks nowhere near as nice as SF90. I had zero interest in test driving one because of looks and muted sound. Should have kept F8 going instead of replacing with this.

Ironically this car sounds miles better than the F8, which was extremely muted btw. And as a bonus this car can trap a whopping 150MPH in the 1/4 mile…….which is bus lengths beyond what an F8 can and even faster speed than an SF90 can attain in the same metric

I agree. It is the ugliest Ferrari of all time, however, it can be made better looking. Novitec did a good job of doing so. It needs 21/22 inch black rims, better side skirts, lowered, etc. It can look better, even elegant once it's altered. I plan to get one only because I can fix it.

What an obvious click-bait. It is definitely one of the best looking Ferraris ever. In comparison a Bugatti or Pagani is ugly as hell. But it all lies in the eye of the observer and his taste.
