I still remember the first races of Fernando Alonso, there was something special about that Spanish guy driving that terribly slow black and white Minardi back in 2001, Flavio Briatore saw that as well and took him under his wings which ended with winning two championships in 2005 and 2006. It wasn't always good around him, also he has some flaws and some moments he would rather forget but no matter what, his talent can't be overlooked. When he decided to join Ferrari back in 2010, he joined the team hoping in doing something similar to what Michael Schumacher did with Ferrari. To make the team to work around him and to win many championships together. His biggest chance came in 2010, but a bad strategy call made it way too difficult and the first disappointment. But it was his first season with the team, not a bad start as all. The second chance came in 2012. Did he have a chance? Not at all with that car but he has matured a lot and he is definitely one of the best drivers on the grid, probably the best one, when others can pull 105% from the car, he can do 120%. This tribute is about his stint with Ferrari and it's a tribute to the Spanish knight, who made Tifosi happy against the odds, what he did was a magic, pure magic. He took 11 wins and 44 podiums with Ferrari and he is one of the best drivers Ferrari ever had, but it wasn't his destiny to tame the prancing horse. And now he's going for another challenge.

Formula 1 is a world of glamour, passion and excitement. With some incredible stories and tales, many of which have good endings but there are even some sad ones. Only the best of the best can drive those beasts around all the challenging tracks in the world - from Monaco to Suzuka. And only true fans can understand why we sit in front of our TVs from March until November and watch the greatest drivers in the world chasing that championship trophy. It's a long journey, but only a few can achieve their dreams.
Formula 1 is also my big passion. I have followed this sport for more than 20 years. While we may never understand feelings of racing drivers, we, fans, have some special feelings too, when we see our favourites succeeding. And that is something hard to describe as well. Then comes "When Words Are Not Enough" as I try to share my passion and represent all the emotions to you, the fans. To never forget those special moments. I really fell sorry for Fernando in 2010, but in 2012, and those words "with a car like this is a lot" damn man, brasil 2012 still hurts

I've been a Ferrari fan all my life, and with all my heart. And I've also been a Fernando Alonso fan. I don't know ho to describe him really. He is amazing! That's all I can say. Because words and emotions cannot describe the talent, the skill and the character of Fernando Alonso. Alonso is one of my favourite drivers, and I hope he can win a championship with McLaren this year with the return of Honda. In the meantime, let's see if the combination of new people, Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel can bring Ferrari back to their glory days. I hope they do!!

Steen Kool his Ferrari in 2010 wasn’t so bad, but he made some mistakes in that year, Ferrari in 2011 and 2013 was crap, in 2012 it was crap but he absolutely deserved that championship

2010-2013 was the Vettel vs. Alonso Era. 2011 and 2013 Red Bull and Vettel did a great job and they deserved their Titles. But I think 2010 and 2012 were Fernandos Seasons and he had a worse car than Vettel and Red Bull but he drove as good as never before. He really deserved to win in those years. His fans derserved it. I was 9 years old in 2010 and I've been an Alonso fan since 2005 (4 years old) I remember my sentence before Abu Dhabi 2010. I said:"If Fernando doesn't get World Champion today I'll never watch Formula 1 again." He didn't become Champion. One of the worst moments of my life. Of course I didnt stop watching F1 and I thought Fernando will do it next season. And Vettel did it again. The Ferrari was Crap. I thought 2012 will be his season. He will do it. I know it. The Ferrari was crap, Fernando as good as never before. The Season 2012 was one of the best seasons in F1. The Brazilian GP came. Vettel was in Lead and Fernandos Championship Chances werent that big but I believed in him. When Vettel got spun in the first corner I went on my knees and thought "yes, this is it" But vettel brought the Red bull back in to the Top 10 and drove a fantastic race. Another black day for me. 2013 the Red Bull was dominant and Fernando couldnt do anything but still came 2nd in front of Webber And now its Hamilton vs Rosberg and 2014 and 2015 have been the worst Formula 1 Seasons I'ver seen. Now I am hoping for Mclaren Honda to come back to the top and to fight the Ferraris with Vettel. I miss their battles.

+Michael / Lakitu Long text I must say, but it is kinda what I feel about Kimi. Always think he will make it. 2003 and 2005 were two anti climatic seasons, but I only started watching F1 since 2005. It's sad to see him now struggling for podiums....Seriously hope that in 2016 Ferrari can get an amazing car to race the Mercs......And of course, I hope that Kimi can have his 2nd World Title.

+Lakitu886 ehi, we have the same age! :D bah, I hate Vettel but in my opinion deserved the WDC in 2010, because Fernando does some fails in that season (China and other grand prix), but in 2011 Red Bull was not a Bull but a fucking MONSTER! in 2012 Fernando was perfect, and, (it seems impossible), Ferrari too!!! But he hasn't a better car than Red Bull, in my opinion, on 16-17/19 races... Ferrari was FINALLY a fantastic car in 2013, but Pirelli does Pirelli for Red Bull.... stolen championship. Vettel fans: four title! four title! four is better than 2°!!! I haven't words...

+Doar Eu It's important to remember that Hamilton was still McLaren's favored driver since he grew up inside McLaren. It's similar to Webber and Vettel in 2010. They were equal status up until Red Bull decided to make Seb their star driver. That favor from a team can really mean a lot.

+FutureF123 That is just an excuse Alonso's fans like to hind behind. The truth is McLaren didnt favored Hamilton or Alonso. Problem was that a fresh double champion didnt want equal status with a rookie who was extremlly competitive but there was absolutly no team order on track to favor eny driver....also if Aloso was treated so badlly as you claim how is it that he accepted to return to McLaren ?

Race in Hungary remainded me that Alonso from Ferrari, smooth, fast, warrior. I hope, that he'll be on the podium next season and that Alpine will have a good car next season to chase Mercedes and RedBull.

This is bloody fantastic! The opening is great. I do not agree with all the things Fernando has done at his time at Ferrari, but I believe that after Schumacher this guy is the best Ferrari driver ever. And of the modern era he is also second to Schumacher as the greatest driver. Plus... tubthumbing... LOL got to love it!

Lotus gave him bad luck in 2012 ;) Spa and Suzuka essentially cost him the championship that year. The thing with Ferrari is that they struggle to develop the car.

He's the only driver after schumy who really made tifosi fans very happy. Whether Ferrari gave him a good car or not, his opponents feared him
Yet again, awesome. Fernando out drove that car in every race, he is the best on the grid but sadly, unless McLaren Honda are at the top, he will always be only a 2 time world champion

In 2012 had Fernando deservedly won that championship he would have been the greatest world champion! He out drove that shitty Ferrari and almost won the title that is just incredible!

I don't believe in "I like x driver because x reasons", that's why I'm not a Alonso, Vettel or Hamilton fan. But nobody can refuse that them all have a massive talent, and Fernando is a driver like this. Wow... watching him at Bahrein 2010, or Valencia 2012... even Hungary 2014 or Abu Dhabi 2010, was like "I'm watching a man who, with a horrible car, can win a race!" That's why I respect him so much, and it's because of that I can say: I'M GLAD I COULD WATCHED THE FERNANDO ALONSO'S RACES. Wish him luck in McLaren, and congrat you for this amazing video. I really like Fernando Alonso. I liked the way how he fighted against Sebastian in all the years. I always supported Sebastian (because I am german) but I wish Seb would still challenge Alonso and not Hamilton

Great video, absolutely fantastic, very well done my friend... I'm a massive Ferrari fan but despite this fact I've never been a Schumacher fan! In my opinion after great Ayrton Senna Fernando Alonso is the greatest driver of all time... He is the only one who has the ability to make Ferrari looks good when the car is actually a piece of junk! Definitely he deserves more than two championship titles! Wish him all the best and great successes with McLaren-Honda.

He's quiet cocky to be fair, but hell he can drive a racecar.

i strongly dislike alonso his character strongly more the anyother driver on the grid, but i respect him so much for his skills on the track. I often wanted him to finish bad or whatever but always he did the exact other thing from what i wanted, if i wanted him to finish out the points he would grab the podium in a shit car. That is how he earned my respect. Still dislike him but he is one of the best on the grid maybe even the best who knows

Stuart Vaughan of course, his character his mind games he plays to his team mates. the blackmailing in mclaren (which failed and that is why he left). He desperatly does everything to make him the main man in the team the number one, he will use the media he will use anything tell lies etc. this, his character is beeing a dick. But this is also a way to win championships. but not mine way. I am more a kimi type mindset person, do your thing dont think about the others what they think about you. and this is not because this season alonso beat kimi. I never ever liked alonso.

Fernando was the best pilot in his ages with ferrari, but the car was a bath with wheels
Amazing driver,but as a person not even close to Seb who is close to his 5th year in Ferrari but never heard him speak badly about the team and the car.I would imagine if Lewis ever had a bad car in his carrer ,he would be as same as Fernando.He never deserved his 3rd tittle after dirty stuff he did in his carrer,but as I said in driver term one of the best ever
