Feride's story

Feride is an Albanian Australian Muslim who moved from Macedonia to Australia in 1969 at the age of 15. Feride works at an elderly day care centre for where she makes coffee on Fridays to bring everyone together, earning her the nickname "Feride Friday".
Feride's story is part of the Muslims of Victoria Project- A collective community project funded by Public Record Office of Victoria. This project was led by Dr. Lutfiye Ali on behalf of North Cyprus Turkish Community Centre in partnership with Cyprus Turkish Islamic Community of Victoria and Community Identity and Research Network (CIDRN). This film was produced by Digital Ethnographer Dr. Kelly Chan.
